IPAC National Chairman Alhaji Bashir Issues Certificate of Return to H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga as  elected chairman of IPAC Edo state and to other elected state chairmen of the Nigerian Federation @ the IPAC Conference in Abuja.
The National chairman of IPAC- Inter Party Advisory Council of  the Nigerian federation H.E. Alhaji Bashir issued certificate of return to H.E. Prince frank Ukonga and all the other ellected 36 states chairmen of the Nigerian federation to assert internal democracy in Inter Party relations which is highly commendable and luadable
We of the Edo state IPAC and on the behalf of all political parties chairmen of Edo state and the south south region we commend H.E.Alhaji Bashir and his great EXCO for repositioning IPAC as a causal nexus , and praxis to midwifing the Nigerian nascent democratic dispensation. IPAC Annual Conference : H.E. Frank Ukonga said: Edo 2016 governorship polls made new record of 25% women candidate perticipation, Highest in Nigeria and African elections.
H.E Prince frank ukonga said at the first IPAC Confrenece in Abuja that under his chairmanship of Edo state IPAC and with his believe and promotion of gender equality has beared good friut and made a record of fielding about 7 female in the 2016 governorship polls which is first of its kind and a record set by him in encouraging all chairmen of political parties in Edo state to feid female candidates in at lleast Deputy governor position while he also took a female as his running mate in the 2016 governorship polls as to lead by example.
 On women participation in politics Prince frank Ukonga said that Edo state has made a new record of having most women in the governorship election in the 2016 polls in Nigeria with at least 7  women participating either as governorship candidate or as deputy governor. This represents about 25% representation of women in the Edo governorship polls edging towards the 35% UN and AU recommended and highest in Nigeria so far.

H.E.Prince Frank Ukonga Explodes @ IPAC First Annual conference said; Lack of Government Funding of Political Parties Endanger Intra- Party Democracy:
His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga the IPAC Chairman of Edo state and the south south region said that lack of funding of political parties by the government is responsible for the current do or die syndrome in politics and this would be ameliorated if the federal government resumes the funding of political parties. He made this known at the IPAC Annual conference of all chairmen of political parties in Nigeria chaired by the Vice President of Nigeria H.E. Yemi Osinbanjo with Senator Bukola Saraki and other top dignitaries of the Nigerian federation in attendance.
 Furthermore Prince Frank Ukonga said; It would also reduce corruption as the need to divert public funds to finance election would be atrophied and this would accelerate the growth and sustainability of genuine democracy in Nigeria. 
He also said that Edo state 2016 governorship polls would be free, far, credible and conclusive as IPAC Edo state chapter is working hand in hand with the relevant security brass in the state, INEC, and all stakeholders to ensure that all challenges that can disrupt the election is nibbled in the bud. The Vice President of the Nigerian federation H.E. Yemi Osinbajo was the special guest of Honor at the IPAC- Iter Party Advisory Council first Conference held at the Yar Adua Center in Abuja by the EXCO of IPAC whose National chairman Alhaji Bashir Yusuf and others EXCO members worked assiduously to make the event a grandiose talk of town gathering of the who is who in the Nigerian political turfs.
In attendance were Senate President Bukola Saraki, represented by Bar Ibrahim El Sudi, Prof Mahmoud Yakubu chairman INEC, Mrs Amina former chairman INEC, Hajiya Buhari, Mrs ambassador Nkoyo Toyo, Prince Frank Ukonga the chairman of Edo state IPAC and the South South Petroleum Producing Region, Prof Yahaya former special Adviser to the Presidency, , Alhaji Modibo former minister of Federal capital territory, all  36 states chairmen of IPAC , All National chairmen of Political Parties ,etc
The vice president who was represented by Senator Babafemi Ojodu emphasized that elections should not be seen as a war, but a process for expressing the will of the people.
He added that the believe that the presidency is witch hunting opposition political party in its fight against corruption, is unfounded, adding that the present government is only interested in putting a stop to the diversion of public fund for campaign purposes to be stopped.
The senate President Dr Bukola Saraki said that to  develop democracy in Nigeria we must respond to the ideological development of political parties, gender equality, inclusion of women and the vulnerable class of the society in the political process, curbing election violence with strict punitive measures, etc. He promised the smooth passage of the gender and equal opportunity bill which will give equal opportunities to all Nigerians and build genuine democratic dispensation in Nigeria.
