FRANK UKONGA CONGRATULATES H.E ADAMS OSHIOMOLE IN HIS VICTORY IN THE EDO GUBERNATORIAL POLLS OF 2012
I Frank Ukonga, the SDMP candidate in the Edo Gubernatorial polls do
hereby congratulate comrade Adams Oshiomole for his landslide victory in
the Edo polls that i participated as a contender. I and my party SDMP
accepts the result as true, genuine , free and fair and we are ready to
join hands with the comrade governor to continue the good work he has
been doing to take Edo state to the promised land that flows with milk
and honey.
Secondly i commend President Goodluck Jonathan and Prof.
Atahiru Jega of INEC as well as all the staff of INEC for conducting the
best, most free and fair election in Nigerian History only to be
likened to the June 12 1993 polls in its conduct, decorum, maturity,
security, openness and logistics, planning and in all ramification
addressed as a sin qua nun of the shape of elections to come in Nigeria
and sub Saharan Africa.
I also thank all the security operatives,i
thank the inspector general of police Alhaji A Mohammed Dikko whose men
did a very good job.
I thank Major General Ihejirika the chief of
staff of the Nigerian Army for sending his best men to Edo state and
their great conduct is memorable to the success of the polls. we are
grateful to all the international observers namely the UNDP, IRI and all
other local observers who worked tenaciously to make the dream election
possible.
We are grateful to the media, both print and electronic medias for making this great success in edo polls a reality...
Lastly i commend all other contenders to the seat of the CEO of Edo
State in their cooperation to make this polls a giant success. and
admonish all to accept the results in the spirit of sportsmanship.WE
commend the people of EDO state who are the real champions that insist
on the concept of one man one vote... without you we will not be here.
you made this great success a reality. Thanks a million.
