teachers ; SDP Edo state appeal to the comrade Governor to reinstate them back
or retire them since most of the sacked teachers have put in above 25 years of
services, the entire world is cognizance
of the fact that paper qualifications is not the true test of a person’s
ability…

The Edo state governor His Excellency Comrade Adams
Oshiomhole has sacked 870 teachers based on the alleged reasons of not having
primary school certificates, irregular paper qualifications, miss conducts etc…
these of course are serious reasons. This sack did not go adequately acceptable
to the majority of peoples who are of the opinion that some of the sacked
teachers or even most have put into service long years of up to 35 years and
due for retirement
As two wrongs don’t make a right we appeal to the Edo state
governor to review the sack papers and tamper justice with mercy with the
consideration that those sacked have ab initio been relevant to the development
of Education in Edo state despite their short comings in the context of paper
qualifications of not being able to produce their primary school leaving certificates and other irregularities…we are cognizance
that employee should be able to present their genuine papers and qualifications
as the standard practice…
