2015 POLLS AND MATTERS ARISING:INEC Postpone general polls
to the 28th March and 11th April due to security reasons-
His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga- IPAC [Interparty Advisory Council of chairmen
of all political parties] Edo state and South South Zone chapters- lauds Prof Atahiru Jega and INEC for this
patriotic zeal:
On the behalf of all the members of IPAC- Inter party
Advisory Council- the association of all the Chairmen of Political Parties of the
Nigeria federation Edo state chapter and the South South Zone, His Excellency
Prince Frank Ukonga the Chairman of IPAC Edo state and the South South Zone
commend the patriotic zeal of the chairman of INEC and all INEC official for
the postponement of the 2015 general polls of the Nigerian federation to 28th
of March for presidential polls/ National Assembly and 11th of April for the governorship
and states Houses of Assembly polls respectively…this six weeks extension would
be adequate for putting in place all the necessary security of life and
properties and other logistics that would guarantee successful peaceful, fair
and credible polls of international standard practice for the 8th Republic of the Nigerian
federation and we appeal to all and sundry in the polity to cooperate with INEC
in this patriotic Dexterity…this is remarkable and laudable…keep the flag flying…
