DUMP  SDP FOR NNPP  WITH  HIS EXCO, AND 18 LGA CHAIRMEN,190 WARD CHAIRMAN, & 24 CANDIDATES OF 2015 POLLS, OVER 820,000 MEMBERS AND THEIR FOLLOWERS
Due to irreconcilable differences between the various factions of SDP in Edo states and the failure of all reconciliations attempts at the auspices of the NWC of SDP, Prince frank Ukonga the state Chairman of SDP, with his full congressed and government recognized Edo state Exco, with 18 lga chairmen ,24 candidates of SDP in the 2015 polls, and over 820,000  registered members  and followers, supporters and fans  has decided to leave the SDP in group to NNPP - NEW NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY.
We moved to join forces with NNPP because we are strongly of the conviction that our political aspiration to contribute positively to the development of Edo state can be better realized in NNPP.
We appeal to all the citizens of Edo Edo and all our numerous members, followers, fans and supporters to join forces with us at our new dispensation in NNPP, addressed to impact positively in the rapid development of Edo state to greater heights of egalitarian society.
We appeal to all the stakeholders in the Edo state political turfs, the Police, the SSS, the Civil defense, the IPAC and the INEC to cooperate with us as this is the best decision and option for us at this juncture of truculence in the growth and development of democracy in Edo state and our dear country Nigeria as we appreciate the tremendous contributions to this entropy.
We appreciate all the reconciliation attempts of the NWC of SDP under the leadership of Chief Olu Falae GCON, and we express that our leaving SDP does not end the  cordial relationship between our faction  and the larger body of SDP nor does it exclude future cooperation when our interest runs concurrent.
Our desire to impact positively in the rapid development of Edo state pitched on a ten points agenda under the NNPP banner and Manifesto includes the followings: free and qualitative education at all levels, industrial and agricultural revolution, economic revolution, infra structural Development, free health cares delivery schemes, Youth and women empowerment, generating electricity for all, cultural and sports development.
Lastly we thank the gentlemen of the press and all our fellow compatriot stakeholders in the Edo state politics fr their understanding and solicit for future cooperation.
