NATIONAL PEOPLES NEWS: INTERNATIONAL: THE GAP BETWEEN THE RICH & THE POOR; A FOCUS ON UNITED FOR GLOBAL CHANGE; THE EUROPEAN DEBT BURDEN & THE DECLINE OF COMMONWEALTH AND WESTERN CIVILIZATION + THE UNITED STATES.
http://nationalpeoplesnews2.blogspot.com.
When the London riots broke out last month, The National Peoples News published the remarks of the Publisher of the National Newspaper, Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga about the causes of the Riots which he noticed “ as the beginning of the Downfall of Western Civilization” this candid remarks of the Prince caused an international appraisal which lead to the reply of the Prime Minister of Britain H.E. David Cameron, to quickly reply back that it was not a symptom of the downfall of western civilization, but a few misguided youth on rampage; there by joining issues with our publisher on a global scale…
The Western media of Time International, Newsweek, the Financial Times of London, The New York Times, and CNN etc….quickly grabbed this opportunity to hit back at the dysfunctional global economy, capitalizing on the remarks of our publisher as their headlines and assiduously vindicating him.
Shortly afterwards the real vindication of our publisher’s remarks came as in the European Financial crisis which has emasculated the entire Western Europe in the past few weeks.
Indeed there has been a lot of cover up but after the exposure of the true nature by our publisher, the stake holders of the European Economies had to come to terms with the true realities on the ground with a view to finding lasting solutions to the crisis and that was exactly the reason why we published the true situation so that solutions can be evolved to the problems.
Currently the Ministers of FINANCE AND Head Of governments of the EEC are in a crucial debate to find solutions, while the recent meeting of the Commonwealth of Nations is also a commendable continuum of the same underlying reality, addressed to find solutions to the problems and prospects of the western civilization that is in decline. And this has been encouraging and praise worthy.
THE INEQUALITY BETWEEN THE RICH & THE POOR;
One of the reasons for this economic crisis is the class struggle of inequalities; in the context of opportunities between the rich and poor citizens on the one hand as well as the inequalities between the RICH and Poor Nations of Western Civilization.
Noticeable is the cooperate greed of Multinational Companies as in sucking out inadvertently the bulk of the resources in circulation and in sharp monopoly of the economic fortunes of the western civilization to the peril of the citizens and the governments of western Nations. The situation is like 80% of the resources is in the hands of less than 10% of the population and this is also applicable to the United States and all Nations of the Commonwealth.
While 90% of the population are left to squalor in the remaining 15% of the resources; the situation is so bad now that Time magazine published that it is almost becoming a caste system, where you are either born into poverty or born into riches in the societies of western civilization…and this was not the rational reason d entrĂ©e of the greatness of Western glories that is crested and founded on the inalienable premises of equality, right to freedom, employment, health ,housing etc as enshrined in their constitutions , as the founders of Magna Carta and the Rule of Law etc….
In the case of the United States the legacies of Emma Lazarus of Pluribus Unun, the legacies of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy has been spent out or dumped and that is the crux of the entire quagmire.
Das Capital of Karl Max asserted the historical and dialectical materialism of class struggle and the inherent contradictions therein that will ultimately snowball into social strives; as the aspects of rabid capitalism represent the cold, rigid and contradictory course of historical development… as noticed by Lev Tolstoy as well.
Karl Max was emphatic that social beings determines consciousness as in the conflicting frontiers of a proiri vs a posteriori knowledge; which is the causality of social and economic enterprises of the society as they jockey along time and space.
Whence the social and economic as well as production relations has to be dynamic.
But as it is now the current production relations of the western civilization has somewhat been side tracked, as not adequately mobile enough, making it somewhat moribund and the only solution to the economic and social strive right now as in the various riots and peaceful demonstrations in more than 180 Nations of the world is to quickly work out a new production relations among the people.
PARTICIPATORY CAPITALISM:
Participatory Capitalism is perhaps a new production relation that can at least come to the rescue of the 21st century mankind. This is a system where workers are given a sizable percentage ownership of the companies and corporations they work for. This is not the gambling and speculations done in various stock exchanges of the world but could be in real terms that will reflect in the monthly and weekly wages of the workers.
This will aid the relocation of sizable capital into the hands of the poor and needy on a continuous basis and when projected along a portable distance of social and economic entropy will bring about leverage in the aspects of the distribution of economic power among a larger, tolerable percentage of the citizenry.
In strict political economy it is described as “Barrack Capitalism” which though chided by H.E. Josef Dugashvili Stalin as the economic system adopted by the Decembrist of which Molotov and Trotsky became the arrow heads of this aspect as their contributions to the development of productions and social Relations on a global basis… and with the evolution of a more polished world there is the need to reinvent this great concepts to solve the current economic quagmires of western civilization as a panacue…
THE UNITED STATE FIRE BRIGADE STRATEGEM TO THE ISSUE: PRESIDENT OBAMA’S $447 BILLION JOB BILL & OTHER MATTERS ARISING.
To put a sanitary condom on the fire conflagration caused by this economic inequality burning Western Europe from spreading to the United States, our publisher at National Peoples News Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga, quickly advised the President of the United States of America to do something fast for the poor and needy Americans. And President Obama indeed moved immediately, with speed and dexterity to propose a $447 billion dollar job bill.
The President Barrack Obama’s Administration quickly did something fast by proposing a job bill of $447 billion dollars to be spent in massive infrastructural development of the inner city ghettos, rural areas, create jobs, give support to the poor, widowed and the needy etc.. a true populist approach to the issue….
This is also a rightly guided initiative but then the United State Congress have refused to endorse the proposed bill by the President and that is the crux of the new demonstrations all over the world by men and women of goodwill under the umbrella of United for Global Change, in solidarity support for the American People, who will be the immediate beneficiaries of this bill when passed into law; but will also invigorate and wake up the entire world economy as demand and supply has become a global issue..
This strategy is an acceptable one for the time being in the aspect of quick fix to the problems, but there is the need to look out for lasting solutions to the problems.
And to Nigeria and all other Nations at the outskirts of western civilization, the situation is the same and even acute as in the gap between the rich and the poor citizens, redundancy, infrastructural decay, looting and larceny of public treasuries…etc
And that partly, is responsible for the emerging restive youth in the various polities at the periphery of western civilization.
Wisdom dictates that such countries should learn from the experience of what is currently happening in the Western world and begin to plan ahead rather than wait as spectators; as the adage goes…what goes around, comes around…and planning realistically ahead, learning from the experience of others, is a great path of genuine statesmanship.
