Anambra Governorship
debate: SDP Candidate Basil Onuorah Onyeachonam floors APGA,PDP, Labour –
Ifanyi Uba and APC’Dr Ngige-VOX POPULI of Nigerians & the International community…opinion
poll conducted by National Peoples News while the Publisher of National Peoples
News- His Excellency Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga said-“ SDP Candidate Basil
Onuorah performed creditably well in the debate and edged out all other
contestant by focused, dynamic issue oriented stratagems which the entire world
appreciate his pragmatic programs to make Anambra state the industrial and
economic hob of Nigeria and the African continent…this is remarkable and
commendable”
The Vox populi of the winner of the Anambra state
governorship debate by National Peoples News has been conducted and the winner
that captured the public opinion with the most pragmatic, issue oriented stratagems,
decorum was the SDP Candidate in the Anambra 2013 governorship polls Barrister
Basil Onourah Onyeachonam . His programs to transform Anambra state to the
industrial and economic hob of Nigeria and Africa is really exiting Anambrans
who are head over heals to have him as their governor in the 2013 polls. Also
the youth of Anambra are in favour of the young dynamic barrister who hails
from Anambra North a zone that has never been governor of the state before. You
will recall that Dr Ezeife was the first civilian governor to govern Anambra
state under SDP Party, so SDP is back on its feet to recapture what belongs to
the party..
Many see Dr senator Ngigie as tenaciously living in the past
and the few days he governed as a surrogate from the Uba political
dynasty…so it is mostly likely that his approval
ratings has dropped significantly since that time as his contributions in the
senate many see as rather portable and abysmal in the context of vibrant
representation…as in the number of functional bills credited to him is rather
insignificant to the overall embodiment of the senate and the input of Anambra
in the federating senate could dull to insignificance as compared to some other
states..While his former boss Dr Chris Uba with a formidable war chest is seen
as more marketable and acceptable as he has a track record of consistency…the APGA
candidate Obiono is seen as a gray horn in the Anambra political tuff and save
for the incumbency factor he remain more of a dark horse who could best be
described as a willing tool to front for the incumbency addressed to continue the
status quo anti bellum..
Dr Ifanyi Ubah of the Labour party has a formidable war
chest but a weak manifesto and obfuscating program policy thrust which may impair
the warmth of the electorate to his campaign train otherwise he could be a
candidate to beat saved his alleged running battle with the EFCC and other anti
corruption agencies over the issues of Fuel subsidy funds running into billion of
Naira.. Otherwise he is young , dynamic and could spring surprises…the PDP running
court battles over candidates to present could be an distraction to the overall
marketability of the polls in general which would affect its performance
despite its composite giant federal incumbency factor…but could spring
surprises if they can gather strength at the last minute rush campaign stratagem..
