Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga Leader of the Forum of Registered Political parties
in Edo state & Chairman SDP Edo state give Prof. Atahiru Jega and INEC, a
clean bill of Health lauding their early preparation for 2015 general election
of the Nigerian federation.
INEC has started on a sound footing in its early preparations
for the 2015 general polls of the Nigerian federation by holding several
stakeholders meeting across the country to acquaint and unveil INEC strategic
policy plan for 2013 – 2016 polls which is commendable as the usual rush in the
period of polls can be avoided by planning ahead. Prof. Atahiru Jega had
earlier in Abuja unveiled the strategic
plans on a National level to stakeholders and today the 6th of
November under the leadership of the Edo
state Residence INEC commissioner and top security brass of the Nigerian federation, unveiled the strategic plan which are
laudable and remarkable addressed to have credible polls in 2013-2015.
The plans includes early updates of voters registration list
as well as the issuance of permanent voters card which today serves as a means
of identification in Banks, and other places which is indeed commendable as the
Nationals Identity card schemes is not enough to provide credible means of
identification to all citizens of Nigeria giving the INEC Voters cards a legal
and formal recognition as identification instrument is a remarkable innovation
and should be given maximum interpretation…
The Edo stakeholders meeting was well attended by many
political parties and stakeholders in the state and many are elated that INEC
would deliver in all subsequent polls credible and laudable presentable results
nationally and meet the international standard practice.
His Excellency Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga the chairman of
Edo SDP and the state leader of the Forum of Registered Political parties of
Edo state of Nigeria lauded INEC and Prof Atahiru Jega’s stratagems “addressed to have credible polls through
planning ahead and conforming with the strategy of using extrinsic tools to
develop intrinsic values in order to consolidate the current democratic
dispensation and institution on as formidable ground for the future becoming of
the Nigerian Federation which would impact positively on the security, stability,
economic and industrial growth and advancement of Sub Saharan African and the
