Chairman Edo state H.E Prince Frank Ukonga commend the German government
foundation of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and commandant
General of National Civil Defense Corp Abdulahi Mohammadu Gana , NSCDC for
organizing the seminar of “The Benefits of Violent Free Elections in Edo state”
in Benin City @ the Oba Akinzua Cultural center.
On the 15th
of August 2915, at the Oba Akenzua cultural center in Benin City was the remarkable
event of the NSCDC and sponsored by the German Government Agency Konrad Adenauer
Stiftung to sensitize the stakeholders and the peoples of Edo state on the
Benefits of Violent Free elections. The event was graced by the top security
brass of Edo state and top officials of Civil Defense and INEC. Led by the
commandant of Civil Defense Edo state commander Chika Walter Akuburo, INEC REC Edo
state Hon. Sam Olumekun, Six of the
governorship candidates in the Edo 2016 polls were at the seminar, while most
of the chairmen of political parties led by IPAC Chairman Edo State H.E. Prince
Frank Ukonga, Comrade Andrew Igwemoh of ACD,
In his address to participants
at the seminar, IPAC Chairman Edo state H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga commended the
German Government and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation for their supporting
the Edo state election through this seminar addressed to enlighten the citizens
of Edo state on the imperatives of Violent Free polls which create a peaceful society,
safe for habitation, civilization and business to thrive. The Amiable Prince
also commended the the National Civil Defense Corp commandant General Abdulahi
Mohammadu Gana for this pro active security initiative.
