2012 BUDGET; THE IMPERATIVE OF PETROLEUM SUBSIDY REMOVAL IN NIGERIA: FOCUS ON THE SOVIET UNION /RUSSIAN CASE STUDY; PETROLEUM SUBSIDY COLLAPSED THE SOVIET UNION; H.E. VLADIMIR PUTIN REMOVED THE SUBSIDY IN 2000 AND BY 2007 RUSSIAN FEDERATION WAS BACK AS A RICH SUPER POWER WITH GIANT ECONOMIC STRIDES AND OVER 1 TRILLION DOLLARS IN RESERVE + 2 TRILLION DOLLARS DIRECT FOREIGN INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO........
President Jonathan must remove the petroleum subsidy in the 2012 budget to free the economy from the bondage of the feudal cabals of irridentist nature that has been cashing on this fictitious subsidy to loot Nigeria dry...It is imperative that over 3.56 trillion dollars being paid to questionable efforts of some cabals in the name of subsidy on petroleum be stopped and the money be channeled to develop the real sector of the economy , create jobs, invest in Agricultural and industrial revolution and create a giant petrol chemical industry south of the Sahel.
There are at least 450 by products of every litter of crude petroleum but Nigerians cannot engage in refinery business because it is subsidized and the basis of profitability has been eroded but if the government removes the subsidy it will become profitable to invest in petroleum refinery and add more value to our oil and harness the 450 products of petroleum and jobs will be all over...investments will flow into Nigeria ...it will just be like the Telecommunication revolution ... that is the new revolution that will take place if the government remove the fuel subsidy...once it becomes profitable to invest in the petroleum refinery business Nigeria will automatically become a super power....
The Soviet Union collapsed as a result of petroleum and other subsidies it grants all her citizen and allies... which out spent the great Super Power... but with the coming into office of H.E. Vladimir Putin he immediately cut off all subsidies of petroleum and all forms of subsidy from the Russian system.... transformed the Russian system from Administrative - apparatchick Keynesian system in to a market driven economy like the Soludonomics and immediately Russia began to grow at the rate of 7 % and late even at higher growth rates which made Russia to pay off all her debts as well as have a colossal reserve of above 2 trillion dollars and more than 2 trillion direct foreign investment...
PERESTROIKA , GLASNOST AND KHOLSRAZCHORT...:.H.E. Vladimir Putin said about petroleum subsidy..."THEIR ARE WORLD PRICES FOR OIL AND GAS. WHY SHOULD WE SELL TO ANY ONE BELOW THE WORLD MARKET PRICE..COULD YOU COME TO A STORE IN THE UNITED STATES AND ASK GIVE ME CHRYSLER CAR AT HALF THE PRICE.. What would you hear from the salesman... go away..." S o the policy thrust of Perestroika is the removal of all subsidies in including the fuel subsidy....moving to the market driven economy as well as kholsraschot which translates as balance of payment position which all govt companies, ministries factories must practice... you must be profitable as a person ,as a government, as an ministry as any thing to be able to be allowed in modern Russia. For this giant stride H. E. Vladimir Putin won the TIMES MAN of the year 2007 for this great stoic firmness in turning around the Russian economy... that exactly is what Nigerians expects of President Goodluck Jonathan
NOTE TO ALL NIGERIANS: IF WE DO NOT REMOVE THE PETROLEUM SUBSIDY NIGERIA WILL COLLAPSE LIKE THE FORMER SOVIET UNION... THE ONLY FUTURE OF NIGERIA IS TO MOVE INTO MARKET DRIVEN ECONOMY
LONG LIVE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA

My brother don't you think it is a shame that Nigeria explore crude oil but does not refine rather it imports? Dont you think we should address the question of why no refineries are working in Nigeria? A Zimbabwean once asked me that Zimbabwe does not explore oil but has working refineries and why does Nigeria not have a working refinery? Don't you think you are looking at the wrong issue? If our refineries are working, more industries will spring up and thousands of Nigerians will get job. I think you should be arguing in that direction, my brother.
