PRINCE FRANK UKONGA THANK ALL NIGERIANS FOR THE SUCCESS OF EDO POLLS OF JULY 2012
DOCUMENTARY ON PRINCE FRANK UKONGA SDMP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE IN THE EDO 2012 POLLS
I thank all the peoples of Edo state of Nigeria for their greatness in
conducting the most free and fair election in the annals of Nigerian / African history and i am most gratified to be part of this greatest event of our time in Nigerian and Africa.
I comment my fellow contenders in the election H.E. Adams Oshiomole who won the polls by an overwhelming victory. I accept and abide by the results of the polls as true, fair and just. I commend the other contenders for accepting the results including Major General Charles Airkhavere , and the PDP State and National secretariat for accepting the results and pulling out of the tribunal due to my widely published appeal that we should bury the hatchet and join hands to move Edo state forward. I commend the PDP and pother stakeholders in the Nigerian project for heeding my clarion call for truss and i appreciate this and will always hold all stakeholders with the highest esteem there be till the end of time,
I comment all international organizations of UNDP, UNESCO, UN, IRI etc that joined us in Edo to making this great election a sin qua non, a role model of elections to come in Nigeria and Africa,
I thank the chairman of SDMP chief Olu Falae and all members of our great party Social Democratic Mega Party for giving me the opportunity to represent the party in the Edo Governorship polls . and i will for ever be grateful for this great opportunity given to me and still ready to serve my party and the Nigerian federation, and the entire world in whatever capacity given to me, thanks a million.
I thank the Media practitioners both in Nigeria and abroad in the exquisite publicity given to the election which was matured, free from mud slinging, back stabbing, no sensationalism and scandals. it was conducted with the most impeccable professionalism in the context of propaganda and Mass communicating. We thank you all.
I Commend the INEC chairman Prof. Atahiru Jega, his birth and coming into being is a great blessing to Nigeria and Africa. I commend the INEC DG Mrs Omo Agege and all the staff of INEC.
We shall continue to hold the Inspector General of police of the Nigerian Federation in the highest esteem there be for doing a good job in the security and peace that he provided making it one of the greatest hallmark of the cooperation between politicians, electorate and the security forces on a global basis of rightly guided policing.
We shall always be indebted to the Chief of Staff of the Nigerian Army Major General Ihajirika for his great role in providing additional security form his defense ministry as a security superstructure addressed to the great success of the pulls of july 12 in edo state.
Above all all the glories goes to H.E. President Goodluck Jonathan for despite all the security challenges he is facing in the context of restiveness of the polity was able to organize the best, freest , fairest election in Nigeria and Africa. He is a great president. On behalf of myself and other contenders and stakeholders in the Edo state/ Nigerian political economy I acknowledge the greatness of H.E. President Goodluck Jonathan and pray that God continue to grant his wisdom and guidance to lead Nigeria to the promise land.AMEN.
