His Excellency, Prince Frank
Ukonga on Wednesday the 5th of March Visited the Official Headquarters
of the ACN party, the Ruling Political Party of Edo state to pay a courtesy
visit to the Chairman of ACN Comrade Hon. Okosun who was in the office to receive
Prince Frank Ukonga and his Entourage. Among the entourages was Prince Shaka
Mommodu the cion of the great Shaka Mommodu Family and a big political weight
in Edo state that drove His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga in a state of Art
Jeep to the venue. The SDMP Publicity Secretary Mr. Henry Ogbemudia was also in
the entourage.
We were warmly received by Comrade
Hon. Okosun the Chairman of A CN and he congratulate Prince Ukonga over the new
good news as the newly elected Chairman of SDMP and solicited for further
cooperation in both the Local Government polls as well as the forth coming general
election of 2015 in the Nigerian Federation. He also invited the SDMP to join
the new Mega Party alliance of APC noting that “ We are all progressive
political parties and if we unite as one formidable force we shall make a great
difference in the 2015 general elections… we anticipate that SDMP will join
forces with APC soon” he counseled..
On the issue of the cooperation
of the 2012 governorship polls among the allied parties Comrade Hon. Okosun
promised to carry every body along, that soon a meeting of all stakeholders in
the State would be held for further cooperation in the governance of the state.

Ukonga thanked Hon. Okosun and lauded his achievement in the 2012 polls where
Comrade Okosun swept the entire 18 local government in a landslide victory to
install His Excellency Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the Governor for a second
term..Prince Ukonga promised to continue to work with A CN as progressives
based on progressive rules of engagements of forming Unity Government when we
win.. On the issue of joining the Merger of APC His Excellency, Prince Frank
Ukonga promised to relay the proposal to the National Exco of the SDMP of which
Prince Frank Ukonga is also a member and the National Chairman of SDMP His
Excellency Chief Olu Falae.…and would get back soon to Comrade Okosun.
