 The INEC of Edo state of Nigeria held today an interactive session with all stakeholders in the Edo political turf with a view to seeking closer cooperation  and guaranteeing successful polls in the state in the forth comming polls of 2015 and 2016  polls.

The stakholders meeting well attended was chaired by the Edo INEC Resident Commisiioner Hon.Baritor Kpagih, Alhaji Odunaye of INEC, Barrister Ongele of INEC,Mr Ikpefua,Mr Eyike and Mrs Momodu Sule the PRO of INEC ,Mr Austin Udezi of National Orientation Agency,the SSS, etc..among the political parties that attended includes chairmen and secretaries of all political parties in Edo state of Nigeria...first on the list of attendace is Hs Excellency Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga- State Chairman SDP- Social Democratic Party, other includes Alhaji Aliu Mommoh representing the APC,Hon Adesotu representing the PDP as the state deputy chairman,,comrade victor Ogba of NCP, Dr Isibor of Accord Party,Orjika Joseph of APGA,Hon Tracy Agol of PPN, in all 11 political party  Chairmen and secretaries attended the stakeholder meeting today.
In his key note address the resident INEC Commissioner Hon. Baritor Gbagih said that the permant voter card of edo state are ready and that very soon INEC would begin the distributions of these cards to voters. he further said that the continous voters registrations of eligible voters would contine addressed to update the voters registrer and to bring in new peoples that have attasined the age of Eigtheen years.....he furhtewr lauded the high staderd of ellection of edo state praising it that it is of international standered practise and laudable...
I his own contribution Hs Excellency Prince Frank Onaivi Uonga chairman of SDP Edo state of geria lauded the great contributions of INEC in the development of democratic ideals in sub saharan Africa and seek for support to the political parties through the newly created IPAC which would be a causal nexus between the politcal party and the regulatoery biody and lauded the creation of this new department which if well articulated has the ptency to streghtn interparty relations...
Dr Isibor of Accord party noted that the 2015 pols time table was unfavorable to his party and hinted that Accord party may take INEC to court...The PDP harped on the process of conducting credible polls and the issues of polls Rigging ,missing ballot boxes, snatching of ballot boxes etc...
