His Excellency Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga the Chairman of SDP of Edo state and the Governorship Candidate of SDMP {now SDP} Edo state polls 2012 adjudged the best election in Nigeria and African History appeals to the First Lady of the Nigerian Federation , Her Excellency Patience Jonathan and the Executive governor of River state His Excellency Governor Rotimi Ameachi to shelve the war and cooperate together to move the Niger Delta Region of South South to the promised Land of Peace , Unity, Love and Prosperity.
The feud is destabilizing the South South geo -political zone of which Edo State is also a South South / Niger Delta Oil producing Region and the richest aspect of Nigerian and the cash cow of the Country and sub Saharan Africa; it is imperative that peace reign in this region so that the cash from our Region will continue to flow to feed the bulk of sub Saharan Africa and the more than 500 million peoples of that Region.
Whence the strategic position of the Niger Dleta Region to the economic Stability and prosperity of the Sub Saharan Africa cannot be over flogged and we appeal for cooperation, unity and promotion of the spirit of comradeship among men and women of subsequent creation...
