The entire Nigerian public are saying that ; how genuine is the national dialogue; the representatives should
be broad based and that notable political Parties and interest groups should be
included in the dialogue otherwise it would be another meaningless meeting of
peoples of same opinion and no reconciliation as a national dialogue is the coming
together of the most important opposing views to dialogue on the way forward
for a nation and the exclusion of other peoples from participating will only
mean a one sided dialogue which would be a meaningless meander in time and nothing
achieved despite the billions of tax payers money invested in the process of reconciliation…
Orji Uzor Kalu’s Party PPA is the forth in strength of
political parties in Nigeria and the second in strength in the Eastern Nigeria,
to excluded such an important political party AND THAT OF Prince frank ONAIVI Ukonga
SDP whose chairman is His Excellency
Chief Olu Falae who was the former finance Minister of the Nigeria AND WHO
contested against Former president olusegun Obasanjo in 1999 in a widely
disputed polls and the SDP is also the party that was edged out in the June 12
polls of BASORUN mko Abiola, and the PRP party of Malam Aminu Kano not invited
and the DPP of Great Ogboru not invited and the NRP party of Chief ANTONY Enahoro
not invited, the party of the late sage that raised the motion for the independence
of the Nigerian federation in 1959 in the parliament and the party of late Gani
Ifawehinmi NCP now lead by Barrister Femi Falana not invited in the national dialogue and many other notable political
parties and association not invited from the North, South and Eastern parts of
the federation;, the public and the intelligentsia the world over wonder what nature
of national dialogue is been organized..And for whom…it appears because many
other segments of the Nigerian community are keeping silent for now..it is been
interpreted as cowardice…or the syndrome that all is well…to say the truth the
entire nation is aggrieved, grieved and violated from one zone to another from
one tribe to another… from one youth to another from one woman to another….and
to have a genuine National dialogue it is imperative to research deeply into
the aspects of inviting a majority of Nigerians to the dialogue in the context
of representation otherwise it would mean another colossal waste of billions of
dollars of tax payers money
the verdict of the public is that the Chairman and board
members of the National dialogue committee are working on a script to make the
dialogue fail from the onset …addressed to destroy the credibility of the National
dialogue as a credible solution to the national crisis of the Nigeria
federation which would impact negatively on the President Jonathan’s govt and
his marketability and acceptability in the 2015 polls…
