Edo Mandate 2016 :Frank Ukonga, Ize Iyamu and 10 other governorship
candidates battle to grab the governance of Edo State in a debate aired
live all over the world.
On the 28th of August 2016 will continue to
be one of the most memorable day in the history of Democracy in Edo
state and in Nigeria as 12 guber candidates contesting to win the hearts
of Edo peoples in the 2016 governorship polls organized by the
Prestigious PR company EggHeads, locked Horns.
In attendance were the
gladiators of the governorship race, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu of PDP,
Prince Frank Ukonga of NNPP, Shadrack Nowamagbe of the UPP, ,Thomas Sado
of PPA, Andrew Igwemoh of the ACD, etc . The program was held at the 5
star Protea Hotel Benin City anchored by the Ace presenter Sunny Duke
Okosun.
H.E. Prince frank Ukonga promised industrial, Economic and
Agric revolution, to create 100 industries in 100 days addressed to
create 2 million jobs and wipe away unemployment from Edo state for ever
and raise the GDP to b the highest in Nigeria and sub Saharan Africa,
he promised free education at all level, Youth and Women Empowerment,
free and effective proactive healthcare schemes, to build hospitals in
all the LGA of the state, to invest in transportation and
infrastructural development, and much more ,
Pastor Ize Iyamu
promised prudent management of resources while presenting his manifesto
under the caption of SIMPLE agenda which is also an acronym for the
projects he intends to implement if voted as governor.
Comrade
Andrew Igwemoh of the ACD said h was going to transform governance in
the state through accountability, transparency and democratization of
the civil service and making it work.
