Breaking News: Bill on Electoral Offences Commission: H.E.
Prince Frank Ukonga DA- Nat. Chairman Laud INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmud Yakubu
for his Contributions to the Development of Democracy in Nigeria and the
African Continent.
Speaking to gentlemen of the Press in the National Assembly
Conference Center Abuja, at the event of the public hearing on the Bill of
Electoral Offences Commission, H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga the National Chairman
of Democratic Alternative Party-DA lauded the immense contributions of the
Chairman of INEC Prof. Mahmud Yakubu for his dexterity in re-positioning the
democratic dispensation in Nigeria and Sub Saharan Africa.
"The amiable INEC Chairman has lot to his credits as he has
broadened the political terrain both vertically and horizontally by bringing
more Political Parties on board thereby creating jobs as a Party can employ over 30,000 people nationally, also by bringing more
credible politicians to participating in our electoral space.
Furthermore this bill on Electoral Offences Commission which
came to being by the cooperation between INEC and the National Assembly would
stabilize and entrench sustainable democratic dispensation in Nigeria and Sub
Saharan Africa"
