SDMP PRESS RELEASE: INEC DID NOT DE REGISTER SDMP WHOSE CHAIRMAN IS CHIEF OLU FALAE, INEC DE- REGISTERED DPA AND CHIEF FALAE IS NO MORE A MEMBER OF DPA

SDMP PRESS RELEASE: INEC DID NOT DE REGISTER SDMP WHOSE CHAIRMAN IS CHIEF OLU FALAE, INEC DE- REGISTERED DPA AND CHIEF FALAE IS NO  MORE A MEMBER OF DPA
It has come to our notice that some people including media newspapers are spreading the news that Chief Olu Falae's Party was de registered by INEC. This publication from SDMP- Social Democratic Mega Party is telling the entiore world that it is a falsehood being peddled by some people and media to run down chuief Falae and SDMP..
PUTTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: His Excellency Chief Olu Falae is the former Finance Minister of the Nigerian Federation and the former Secretary to the Government of the federation. Chief Olu Fale is the Chairman of the largest Pan Yoruba movement of Afenifere and the leader of the entire Yoruba Race worldwide , a people of more than 120 million peoples spread across Sub Saharan Africa in Nigeria , Benin Republic, Togo, Bukina Fasso, Mali, Senegal, Ghana , the Caribbean Island, Cuba, United State Britain and all over the world. Chief Olu Falae is the National Executive Chairman of SDMP- Social Democratic Mega Party one of the Top Ten political parties of the Nigerian Federation.
Chief Olu Falae contested the Presidency in 1999 Presidential election and it is alleged that he was rigged out by H.E Obasanjo in a widely disputed election. Many people believe Chief Olu Falae won the 1999 Presidential polls in Nigeria but OBJ hijacked the victory of our erudite sage and ruled the entire country with military dictatorship for 8 years and only God saved Nigeria from his jaws and claws as he wanted to become life president of the Nigerian federation in seeking a third , forth , fifth terms while the constitution is clear on how many terms a person can do.
SDMP is a coalition of 25 political parties registered in 2011 some months to the general election of 2011 and we were able to field candidates to become one of the Top Ten Political Parties in Nigeria and Africa and the world in generality. We are indeed less than 3 years old and yet we are competing with PDP , ANPP etc that are very old political parties. sdmp has been contributing immensely directly and indirectly to the development of genuine democracy in Nigeria and sub Saharan Africa and we are very grateful to INEC, to President Goodluck Jonathan and the FG, to Prof Atahiru Jega and to the entire peoples of this great country who has given our party a clean bill of health to continue to serve Nigeria in the capacity of a Political Party.
On the behalf of Chief Olu Falae, the entire members of SDMP we express our deepest appreciation for this great approval from Nigeria and we promise not to let the Nation down in any other elections.

NEW PARADIGM SHIFT IN THE PROF. JEGA'S RANKING FORMULA TO THE SCIENTIFIC , STATISTICAL DATA PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS:

STATUS OF TOP TEN NIGERIAN POLITICAL PARTIES BY INEC RANKING:
RANK    PARTY      CANDIDATES PARTICIPATION IN ELECTION
1              PDP                        1510
2               ACN                     1295
3              ANPP                     1286
4              CPC                        1194
5             LABOUR                 783
6              APGA                     625
7              MPPP                       278
8             SDMP                      257
9               NTP                        240
10             NCP                     206
The new paradigm shift in party assessment of strength based on participation in elections, just like as it is done in soccer friendlies for which the world FIFA used in ranking Nations and Clubs That was the exact wisdom applied by professor Atahiru Jega which is the scientific wisdom of Solomon. To go to the field and check directly the serious minded political parties that are genuinely fielding candidates for political elections and to ntire political industry of Nigeria from Civil Right activism.
civil right activism: Many peoples who came into the political climate of 1999 were more of Social and civil right activists and with the clarion call that peoples should go and form political parties some NGO , Civil Right activist transformed their organizations into political Parties. and that is why their representation , performance in fielding candidates for election is found wanting. Many of them were thinking that prof. Jega will base his ranking on the fecundity and fickle aspects of of placing a blanket ban on all parties that cannot win a seat y. And that was what many banned political parties who are not performing are expecting , so that those political parties that are performing . spending money, participating in all elections, fielding candidates, or4ganizing congress, conventions, etc which are the necessary yardstick of measure of performance[but yet unlucky to win] would be banned along with the un serious once. Just like how King Solomon in order to know who is the true owner of the child being disputed between two women asked that the child be sheared into two and half be given to each woman, but then the true owner of the child rejected the idea because the child would die and nobody will have it. so she demanded the child be given to the other wrong woman so that the child would not die. That was exactly the wisdom used by Prof. Atahiru Jega and INEC. in the aspects of scientific Ranking of the political parties, their participation in elections, the quality of candidates presented, the structures, future , potentials, relevance as contributory opposition, media presence, international outlook and presence and the criteria used by Professor Jega were numerous before arriving at a benchmark of de registering 28 political parties in Nigeria.

INEC DE REGISTER 28 PARTIES: CHIEF OLU FALAE IS CHAIRMAN OF SDMP AND NO MORE A MEMBER OF DPA AS PUBLICIZED BY THE MEDIA

INEC DE REGISTER 28 PARTIES: CHIEF OLU FALAE IS CHAIRMAN OF SDMP AND NO  MORE A MEMBER OF DPA AS PUBLICIZED BY THE MEDIA -(INEC) The Independent National Electoral Commission   de-registered 28 political parties.
The parties are:“African Liberation Party (ALP), Action Party of Nigeria (APN), African Political System (APS), Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP), Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Community Party of Nigeria (CPN).
“Democratic Peoples Alliance (DPA), Freedom Party of Nigeria (FPN), Fresh Democratic Party (FDP), Hope Democratic Party (HDP), Justice Party (JP), Liberal Democratic Party of Nigeria (LDPN), Movement for Democracy and Justice (MDJ).”
“Movement for the Restoration and Defence of Democracy (MRDD), Nigeria Advanced Party (NAP), New Democrats (ND), National Majority Democratic Party (NMDP), National Movement of Progressive Party (NMPP).”
“National Reformation Party (NRP), National Solidarity Democratic Party (NSDP), Progressive Action Congress (PAC), Peoples Mandate Party (PMP), Peoples Progressive Party (PPP), Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).”
“People’s Salvation Party (PSP), Republican Party of Nigeria (RPN), United National Party for Development (UNPD)
United Nigeria Peoples Party (UNPP).”
“The Commission hereby reiterates its commitment to relating with political parties in accordance with extant laws and for the benefit of our electoral democracy.”
Some of the founder of the parties are Alhaji Balarabe Musa (PPP), Pastor Chris Okotie (FDP), Ex-Enugu State Governor Chimaroke Nnamani (CDC), Alhaji M.D. Yusuf (MDJ), Dr. Tunji Braithwaite (NAP),  (DPA).
There were 56 political parties after the agency withdrew the registration of seven of the 63 political parties before the 2011 general elections.
No reason was given for the INEC’s action.
A statement by INEC Secretary Abdullahi A. Kaugama, reads: “In the exercise of the powers conferred on it by the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended), the Independent National Electoral Commission has today, Thursday, December 6, 2012, de-registered the following political parties:”
Please note that Chief Olu Falae has long left DPA and now the Chairman of SDMP that is still a bonafide active Party in the Nigerian Federation. So it is erroneous to peddle the news that Chief Olu Falae Party was de registered. Chief Olu Falae is no more a member of DPA when her took up National Chairmanship of SDMP. And SDMP is grateful to Professor Atahirtu Jega and all INEC officials as well as the president of the Nigerian Federation for thier impartial judgement based on parties internal democracy through annual congress, active participation and presentation of candidates for elective positions and other stronger far sighted criteria of integrity, commitment and seriousness of political parties... rather than use the fickle but elusive winning seats at Parliament as yardstick of measure of greatness of political parities...This new paradigm policy shift of h.e. Professor Atahiru Jega in assessment of political parties based on his own internal Research and information of activities of political parties is highly commendable as ingenious proactive interactive policy thrust that will lead Nigeria to the entrenchment of genuine democracy in Sub Saharan Africa.

BREAKING NEWS:OSHIOMHOLE,BACKS LAMIDO & FRANK UKONGA ON THE NEED FOR FISCAL DISCIPLINE, ACCOUNTABILITY AND PRUDENT MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES

H.E. ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE

H E. Adams Oshiomhole yesterday through his executive weight backing the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Sanusi Lamido, who observed that over 70 % of the Nigerian earnings is spent on recurrent expenditure leaving only a small sum of less than 30% to  capital expenditures and he called for pruning down of staff to 50% down sizing. Governor Oshiomhole in supporting this said that it would be proper for the down sizing to come from down sizing executive spending of big government officials rather than down sizing the lower aspects of the ladder in Govt employment as this will cause hardship and redundancies. So now Governor Adams Oshiomhole who earlier on lashed out at the idea is now on same page with Malam Sanusi Lamido but the argument has moved to which segment of the society should bear the brunt.
Earlier on, the argument  was kick started by the monthly State of the Nation Lectures of Prince Frank Ukonga- A Presidential Aspirant of the Nigerian Federation in the 2015 polls where he observed the high cost of overheads in running government in Nigeria, the high cost of making Laws in Nigeria as the Legislatures and MP collects at least 25% of all the earnings to make laws and pass bills. Prince Ukonga fired the Salvo calling for far reaching ideas as the followings to bring Nigeria out of the most corrupt Nation and poverty indicators of the world . Prince Ukonga offered that there is the need for fiscal discipline, prudent management of  funds and economy as well as offered the imperatives of the following points:
1]separation of Local Government / State Government account: Immediately he advised ALGON to go to court on the issue and ALGON - The Association of Local Government in Nigeria has taken the case to court 2 days ago.
President Goodluck Jonathan backs Frank Ukonga and Sanisi Lamido: Just as Gov Oshiomhole's Endorsement of the idea of Sanusi and Ukonga on the need for fiscal discipline, accountability and strict managements of funds, the President of the Nigeria Federation H.E. Goodluck Jonathan, was the first person to back Prince Frank Ukonga's idea of promoting a bill for LG/ STATE Government separation of account, Local Govt Autonomy etal
2]Autonomy to INEC: Prince Frank Ukonga Advised that INEC should be given financial autonomy, and assisted with all its need to be a good umpire in the Nigerian democracy. INEC is on  the move already - has proposed financial autonomy to the Senate yesterday as well as asking for more laws addressed towards its independence- These are giants strides of Prof. Atahiru Jega.. Today INEC de  registered 28 political parties ... INEC has began to rejig itself in line with the observations offered by Prince Frank Ukonga in the State of the Nation lectures released two weeks ago weeks ago
3] Imperatives of constitutional review to thinker with unequitable allocation of LG, States, funds, etc- .

LG VS STATES REFORMS: OSHIOMHOLE AND BABA AHMED AT DAGGERS DRAWN @ SIR AHMADU BELLO 1ST ANNUAL MEMORIAL LECTURE.H.E. JONATHAN,FRANK UKONGA, LAMIDO VINDICATED

FROM LEFT: GOV. ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE OF EDO; GOV. ALIYU BABANGIDA OF NIGER; SPEAKER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE, AMINU TAMBUWAL; AND THE GUEST SPEAKER PROF. IBRAHIM GAMBARI AT THE 1ST ANNUAL SIR AHMADU BELLO MEMORIAL LECTURE IN ABUJA ON MONDAY (3/12/12).

LG VS STATES REFORMS: OSHIOMHOLE AND BABA AHMED AT DAGGERS DRAWN @ SIR AHMADU BELLO 1ST ANNUAL MEMORIAL LECTURE.H.E. JONATHAN,FRANK UKONGA, LAMIDO VINDICATED

On Monday the third of December was a hot day in Abuja at the first annual Memorial Lecture of Sir Ahmadu Bello first Premier of Northern Region organized by the Nigerian Economic summit and many top dignitaries of the Nigerian Federation attended.
Preambles:
Hottest on the list of topics that was discussed was the issue of the Local Government autonomy from the state Governments which has been an issue being promoted by Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga a governorship candidate of Edo State in the July 14 Gubernatorial polls. Ukonga wants full autonomy for the Local Governments in Nigeria. President Goodluck Jonathan has backed Prince Frank Ukonga to liberate the Local Government from the slavery and bondage and prison of the state governors and the die is caste...
FRANK UKONGA LECTURE ON STATE OF THE UNION: The first salvo on the LG/states feud was shot by Prince frank Onaivi Ukonga in his monthly state of the Nation lectures were he canvased for autonomy for the Local government, separation of accounts and independent election systems for the Local government and advised the Local Government two weeks ago to go to court over the issue . Last week the Local Government union ALGON has gone to court on the issues of Joint Accounts and elections etc following the advice of Prince frank Ukonga.
President Goodluck Jonathan and Malam Sanusi Lamido: The President of the Nigerian Federation backed Prince frank ukonga's notation 4 days ago and promised to do his best to fight for Local Government Autonomy in Nigeria while Malam Sanusi Lamido also backed Prince Frank Ukonga views of state vs local Government and to stop states Governors from usurping the accounts, funds, duties and functions of the LG.

OSHIOMHOLE REPLIES JONATHAN, UKONGA AND LAMIDO AT AHMADU BELLO MEMORIAL LECTURE 1: Governor Adams Oshiomhole at the Amadu Bello First Annual Memorial lecture lashed at Prince Frank Ukonga, President Jonathan  Malam Sule Lamido and other critiques that supports the autonomy of the local Government saying that the Federal Government is to blame for Nigerians foes since it takes 52% of the allocation of Nigeria while 28% is given to the 36 states of the federation to shear. He observed that this is an anomaly and that to whom much is given much is also expected. He compered the situation to that of governors being angels with only 28% and perhaps liking performances as equitable with the resources available to them.
ALHAJI BABA AHMED BLAST GOVERNORS: Alhaji Baba Ahmed blasted all Nigerian governors and canvassed for autonomy of local government from state government and warned that the state governors are planning to hijack the Local government allocation constitutionally and that this should not be allowed.
CONCLUSION: In our own view at National Peoples News and the views of our President of National Peoples News Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga is full autonomy for local Government, Separation of Accounts, and conducting independent elections for local Government,  Stopping governors from dissolving local government and appointing their cronies and friends to loot the LG.ETC.And above all Frank Ukonga has the support of the President of Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan and that of the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria in this battle with the Nigerian Governors to Wrestle out of their bondage the local Governments of Nigeria so that the dividends of democracy can trikle down to the rural areas and to the low and down trodden of the Nigerian federation. We call on all men and women of goodwill the world over to put pressure on the Nigerian senate and Assembly to give full independence to Local Governments in Nigeria
