3] Economic Revolution : DA promise to fulfill the Vision 2020 Dream of Nigeria becoming among the top 10 economic giant of the would if voted to power. DA Target in the first 365 days in office a GNP of above $2,5 Trillion Dollars and a progressive geometric increment of $1 trillion dollars annually. This would position Nigeria as the leading economic giant of the third world and among the top ten economic giant of the universe. We hope to achieve this through the DA Marshal plans of Industrial and Agric Revolution.
4] Industrial Revolution: The back bone of Industrial Revolution is Electricity, Iron &Steel, R&D and R&I. DA if voted to power targets to generate in the first year in power over 50,000 MW Electricity which would be adequate to jump start the DA Industrial and Agric Revolution. DA Plans to produce liquid steel and to establish rolling mills in all the 36 states of the federation as well as progressive local government s would have rolling mills. Our vision of Industrial Revolution is to overrun the entire universe with made in Nigeria products and services. So we shall focus on the production of quality products for exports. We plan to surpass China in the production of cheap and durable commodities in a short distance of history yonder. The DA R&D has revealed that Nigeria has a large youth work force of over 70% of the almost 250 million Nigerians unemployed. Our prerogative is to give employment to this great Human assets currently redundant and transform them into superstars of the novae greatness of the Nigerian Federation that would prime move a civilization second to non in the entire history of the universe of all times...We are determined to achieve this giant stride ...and Once There is a Will , there is a Way...[Lao Tse]
5.] Cottage Industries: DA Marshal plans includes the establishment of over 1000 [One thousand Cottage Industries }annually that would employ between 100 to 500 workers each in the 774 lga of the federation and given the multiplier effects in the down stream sector economy Nigeria would have to invite immigrant workers to come and share in our novae prosperity...Action would begin. Blacks all over the world , whites all over the world , Asians all over the world would troupe to Nigeria to participate in our new civilization as it is written ...power , progress belong to those who can muster the strength, the courage, to stoop down and pick it up[ Feodorov Dostoevsky]
DA is determined to lead Nigeria to become the new emerging superpower of the globe in all calculations...
6.]Agric Revolution: DA is determined to feed the entire Nation and produce surplus food and cash crops for exports as improvised by [George Elliot] in her celebrated Classics of "The Weaver of Ravelor" of the coming into being a band of Nationals wandering the world; semblance of a dis inherited Race of people; and that she was describing the present state of Nigeria and the African continent is to say the least.Africa, raped by the tragedy of Slavery, Colonization and Imperialism and underdeveloped by self seeking leadership. All our able men and women and industries are checking out in droves being used as  beast of burden to develop other Countries of the globe. DA is determined to stop this through Agricultural, Economic and industrial Revolution.
7] Youth and Women Empowerment: The Celebrated classic writer [Turgenev] Once improvised in his celebrated classics "The Hunter's Sketches" about a Race of people youth to the marrow who simply Jokes away their lives. Of course lives is joked away due to unemployment and frustrations. DA is determined to empower the youth and women of the federation to empower them to cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship and become employers of labour through the DA Marshal plans of training and retraining of youth and women through numerous incubator start ups to be established in all the 774 LGA of Nigeria.
8] Health, Housing and Infrastructural Development: Health would have a tremendous boost in the government of DA as DA plan to build quality well equipped hospitals in all the 774 LGA of the federation. We shall invest in quality pharmaceuticals. Housing and infrastructural development would be top quality as we plan to link all cities in Nigeria with quality Roads and trains, Aviation would have a boost as we plan to bring down the cost of flight by supporting the industry. Sea and water ways would have a big boost as we plan to dredge the River Niger and other major rivers for sea transports. New sea ports would be built round the country and each state would have a dry Dock port.
9.] Security:DA Security initiatives would build on the past successes of other governments but would have a paradigm shift in the context of distinguishing between genuine peoples Democracy and Militarized Democracy. Often in conflict Resolution it has been established by the thesis of Franz Fanon and Antonio Gramschi the Revolutionary intelligentsia of Latin America that genuine peoples democracy established on the basis of alternative dispute resolution in resolving communal crisis has produced peace and long lasting solutions to conflict resolution than the militarized democracy of application of arm confrontations the world over. Whence the government of DA is determined to harness the great teaching and methods of Franz Fanon in establishing genuine peoples democracy, proactive security initiatives to guarantee peace , progress and rapid development of the Nigerian state.
10] Foreign Policy Thrust: DA Foreign policy thrust would be based on the golden Rules of Creation of Diplomatic and Economic reciprocity.

Other programs: Anti Corruption and Public Probity: DA is committed to the Freudian Philosophy that an un- examined life is not worth living; so we are committed to continuous anti corruption crusade and public probity but this would be done across board by building strong anti corruption institutions and strengthening the legal Ministry of the sovereignty

Other Vital policy thrust of DA: DA- Philosophy and Ideology: DA Philosophy is crested on the philosophy of Karl Marx of Social Democracy ; which is the Marxism of central left that hold truth the scientific pursuit of Historical and Dialectical Materialism and shy away from idealism and transcendentalism and its idiosyncrasies. In this context we believe in the superiority of  A posteriori over A priori. We also hold strong the great virtues of in-determinism over determinism in the context of philosophical divide. And here we believe that Human Being determines consciousness which inter alias invigorate enterprise and production. But we subscribe to the Marxist view of production Relations as it relates to the factors of production of Land , Labour , Capital and Entrepreneurship. Whence the production relations of the present Nigeria based on capitalist production relations has gone moribund on a global scale and we shall re invent the novae production relations that would eliminate man exploitation and oppression of man by man and establish a resilient production relations of participatory socialism or participatory capitalism where all workers in a company shall be opened to the opportunity of stock options. This would ameliorate the Aristotelian and Adam's Smith's methods and  By this we hope to eliminate the abrasive gap between the rich and the poor and eliminate poverty for ever in the Nigerian political Economy and in the society.

Our Mission : By the analysis above we hope to transform Nigeria into a true egalitarian society by eliminating poverty for ever and closing the gap between the rich and poor.

A Passionate Plea: To all Nigerians in Nigeria and Our Near and Far Abroad: This is a clarion call for all to ruminate on the present state of Nigeria and forge out novae stratagems to salvage this great country from collapse  and failure. We appeal to all and sundry to believe in DA and our resolute determination to make a difference. We appeal to all the citizens of Nigeria to vote for DA in the 2019 elections. Vote DA for President , Vote DA for National Assembly as in Senate and House of Representatives, Vote DA for Governor, Vote DA for  state House of Assembly , Vote DA for Chairman LGA, Vote DA for Councillors. Our Word is our bond. We promise not to let you down but to set forth at dawn. Long Live DA, Long Live the Nigerian Federation.
And to God the Creator , the Benefactor , the Beneficent be the Glory. Gratitude.

PUNCH INTERVIEW: Frank Ukonga Explodes:Presidential candidate of the Democratic Alternative, explains his plans to transform Nigeria if elected in 2019 in this interview with PUNCH- WILLIAMS BABALOLA

W
hat will be the focus of your administration?
The Democratic Alternative, if voted into power next year by Nigerians, would focus on the implementation of the DA marshal plan which will take Nigeria to greater heights where it would be ranked among the top 10 economies and industrial giants of the world. We are targeting a GNP of over $3.5tn by 2024 and create over 20 million direct jobs. We also want to create over 50 million jobs in the downstream sector of the economy so that we could generate and distribute over 50,000MW of electricity. Such a boost in the power sector would jump-start our party’s industrial, economic and agricultural revolution and much more.
The government of DA has set a target GNP of $3.5tn by 2024 if voted into power by Nigerians. Our reforms would position Nigeria among the top 10 economic giants of the world. On electricity, we would generate and distribute within the first year in office, over 50,000 MW going by the research carried out by our development department.
What do you regard as Nigeria’s biggest problem at this time and how do you intend to tackle it?
The biggest problem of Nigeria is the mismanagement of the nation’s economy and the entire affairs of the country by charlatans and mostly unpatriotic leadership which causes mediocrity and underdevelopment of our great nation. The mismanagement of the Nigerian state is also responsible for the economic (downturn), insecurity, unemployment, poor infrastructural development, frail gregarious and epileptic institutions, and insecurity. The government of DA is determined to lead a result-oriented and determined government, dedicated to hard work to take Nigeria to the promised land of prosperity, peace and economic prowess. Terrorism, kidnapping, irredentist ethnic chauvinism and senseless ethnic cleansing and domination are becoming embarrassing to the integrity of the Nigerian sovereignty and threaten peace and coexistence in sub-Saharan Africa thus becoming an albatross to our economic, industrial and investment potential in Nigeria and the ECOWAS sub-continental shelf. Our government would not tolerate this diabolical, obnoxious irredentism.
What would you do differently from what this government or the previous ones have done?
The government of DA is determined to have a paradigm shift from the other government of Nigeria through the DA marshal plans of industrial, economic and agricultural revolution. We shall establish over 1,000 cottage industries in the 774 local government areas in Nigeria within the first 365 days in office. We shall empower the youth, women and the vulnerable. We shall create so many jobs that people from all over the world will travel to Nigeria to share from the novae prosperity the government of DA would create. Nigeria will be back as a true global and continental player and giant. Our word is our bond. We promise not to let Nigerians down but to set forth at dawn.
Do you think INEC will conduct a free and fair election in 2019? If not, what step do you intend to do?
To be honest with you, the DA is apprehensive on the possibility of having a free, fair and credible election in 2019. We are optimistic that there could be an election in 2019, but as to how credible, free and fair it would be will always be held suspect especially if you take into consideration the contemporary idiosyncrasies of the Ekiti and Osun governorship elections. Any sane, rational mind of goodwill cannot adjudge such elections of Ekiti and Osun as free, fair and credible and if this is projected to the 2019 elections, which are a few months away, it would be foolhardy to begin to have a stream of consciousness of expecting a free, fair and credible election in the same polity with just four months to go. We at DA uphold the philosophy of historical and dialectical materialism of the central Marxism of social democracy and within the value standard and judgments of that school of thought. To have a credible, free and fair election in 2019 would be a miracle like a camel going through the eye of a needle.
