The Lg elections held on the 22 October was a sham as little or no people came out to vote...less than 5% of registered voters participated as the public had an apathy to the draconian rule of Lagos state by the Dictator of Lagos State Governor Rahi Fashola who has been demolishing all the houses and markets of the poor masses of Lagos and in  place give the lands to rich developers who will build structures that the poor can ill afford...so he is the Governor of the rich and elite lagocians...he has no sympathy for the poor people of Lagos who are in the majority and as a sign of public protest the entire masses of Lagos state decided to boycott his polls in the LG ...with this they ho[pe to make a statement that Gov Raji Fashola should become a born Again Governor and give his life to Jesus Christ.....
2] Many political parties have also condemn the polls on the ground that the LG which is the third Tier of Government in Nigeria has been dialoged by the Governor Fashola Govt and the Autonomy of the Local Councils has been u sopped by the Governance who Conner all the Lg funds and embezzle all the funds meant for the people through the joint account that President Jonathan used to fund the LG FROM THE FEDERATION AC most people believe that the 57 LG created by Gov Raji Fashola are illegal , illegitimate Lgs addressed to consolidate himself in power like the Late Maumar Gadafi of Libya so that he can rule Lagos for ever....so many political parties are asking that he revert to the approved 20 local council structure of the FG which is the logical ,intellectual and rightly guided path top come to equity...
also thier was a heavy down fall of rain that rained all cats and dogs of lagos state that made it impossible for any voters to come and vote in the polls.....
