THE GREAT PLANS OF PRINCE FRANK UKONGA TO DEVELOP EDO STATE:
Prince
Frank Onaivi Ukonga studied Road ,Bridges and Highway Construction from
a prestigious Soviet Union [Russia] University so the aspects of
infrastructural development is his field of study and he is going to
develop all the Edo State Roads, Bridges, Airports, Stadiums, Town
Halls, dams, boreholes, electricity, and other infrastructures in
partnerships with his former class mates in Russia using direct labor
system which is going to create lots of jobs. The amiable Prince of
Igarra said the direct labor force in infrastructural development of the
state which he is going to implement as an expert in the field will
create at least 0ne million jobs and also train Road and civil engineers
in his former school in Russia…
“I promise that Edo state is going to get the first biggest asphalt/ bitumen production factory , a modern quarry industry and would be the largest in Africa in the aspect of provisions of Road and civil construction raw materials like building blocks, cement, iron rods, flat sheets, angles…electrical components bulbs…glass making factories.. Granites, tiles, plumbing materials, interior decoration and roofing materials, nails, aluminum roofing, asbestos roofing materials etc…we call this in Russia – “stroitelnoye materialov” and it’s a very big profitable industry...this will increase to hundred folds the resources of the state- Alhaji Aliko Dangote is the richest man in Africa because he is investing in that field of construction material of cement etc and he never studied that field in school… But I studied it in school. I can tell you how to make cement, build the components that will process the lime stone and will grind and heat it into powder and use either the wet method or the dry method… same with the manufacture of bitumen, asphalt, tiles, paint, iron rods, roofing sheets , nail making and virtually all building and construction materials. I can in a jiffy put up any factory including cable factories, tools factories…just name it… we do a lot of practical in Russian Schools but remember I will not build these factories in my name, I will build them for Edo state people , in their name…you must understand that Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga is an acetic Prince.. That is such Princes that hates the mundane accumulation of money and material wealth for personal use and hates ostentatious living…I am like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru…Murtala Mohammed, Aminu Kano, Obafemi Awolowo, ….”. In the aspects of industry the Prince promise an industry to be sited in every local Government area in the state… the big industries will span food canning, ginnery, textile, cement production, fertilizer productions lines, palm oil processing factories, tools making factories, cocoa processing factories, refineries, automobile manufacturing factories ,computer and electronic manufacturing factories, cable manufacturing factories, Plastic manufacturing, pulp and paper manufacturing factories, printing presses, and also to invest heavily into small and medium scale industries… he is also convinced that Edo state should be the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria in the distribution of all goods in the country as it is located in the heart of Nigeria. So warehouses will be built to stock and distribute goods from all manufacturers in the country. He also promises to support market women by building good affordable stores and markets all over the state and also give direct grants to all market women in the state. Scholarships and bursary awards to all students of EDO State as well as social security salary to be paid to people without jobs…it may not be much but everybody must get something from the Prince at the end of every month to keep body and soul together. As for the hospitals; new hospital with modern equipments, will be built in all local government headquarters of the state.. And pharmaceutical companies will be invited to Edo State to manufacture the genuine drugs for the state great citizen. “We shall not tolerate fake drugs in Edo state as soon as I become the governor of the state.” Said the Prince of Kukuruku Provinces, principalities and powers. “My birth was a foretold one …and I reincarnated from the spirit realm into the material world to come and help people, and alleviate their sufferings., bringing smiles and joys to their faces…that is my destiny in life….I hate treasury looters; if I am in the position of power I will execute or give life jail terms to treasury looters…just as done in China and Russia…” As for water, it is also his field of study and he has promised to provide drinking water to run in the now dry taps of the Edo peoples. As for electricity, because of our need for rapid development we shall assist the federal government to generate electricity of above 5000 MW to the national grid. As for Steel rolling mill he offered the following…” No nation or State can become an industrial giant without the capacity to produce liquid steel. We shall commence our liquid steel rolling mill the first day I become the governor of the state…and this will attract investors to the state like bees to honey” As for sports, culture and youth development the prince promised to take the state to the highest level of sports, youth and cultural development… As for Education he promised to build new universities, secondary schools, research centers, nursing schools, agricultural and technologically equipped polytechnics and to invest in nursery and primary education. “I strongly believe that the aspects of industrial and agricultural development should not be left for the private sector alone… I believe in a well managed mixed economic and industrial state and my prerogative will be to form and run numerous factories and industries and to partner the private investors through share acquisition and access to state debenture capitals, Tax relief incentives as well as tax deductibles…” “Most of what I will do to revamp Edo state , I wrote in my award winning book published in 1992 – The Seething World- Reparations for the Black Race- the book is a modern dictionary of how to develop and govern a state to success; the book made the Deans list of Northwestern University In Illinois State of the United States along with the book of Prof. Wole Shoyinka and Prof Ade Ajayi as most valuable books of the Human Race,-a very short list of 20 most valuable books of the world- it also made the list of most valuable books of Open Library of America along the books of great sages like President Kwame Nkrumah, Leopold Senghor former President of Senegal, and Secou Toure former president of Guinea…also a very short list..., and also classified by the United State Library of Congress as a most valuable book, as well as in many countries of Europe, Asia and Africa…” “It also made the Wikipedia list in the Deway class of best books ever written by mankind- also a very short list and the Google books, Amazon books, E-bay, GET Cited, Abe books, Yahoo books, and all the book marketing sites of the internet on their own digitized the book without my knowledge and are selling it and using it to promote their sites. I am talking of big corporate institutions of the world investing courageously in a book without seeking the author’s permission…they would not take such great risk if the book is not a genius material, of course a golden book has no hiding place as the adage goes…Many of the great ideas in the book are being adapted by many countries of the world…” “When a book is classified as most valuable category, what it means in most cases is that you have to get permission from an Attorney at law or a recognized, qualified Lawyer, to have access to my books in most exclusive libraries of the world” “I appeal to the entire peoples of Edo State, to the entire great peoples of Nigeria and to all the powers there be, to the shakers and movers of the country and to the entire world in generality to assist me become the Governor of Edo State come 2012 general election so that we can all join hands to make the great legacies of king Ewuare, of King Esige, of Queen Idia, great again….I am begging with honesty, humility and nobility… Long Live Edo State …Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Amen.” The Amiable, handsome, gentle, soft spoken Prince concluded. By all indication, the Prince is a great asset to Edo State, the Nigerian Federation and the world in generality in the aspect of polished, educated and enlightened, post modern human resource development.
