The inauguration of of H.E. Adams Oshiomhole for a second term was held at the Ogbe stadium on the 12th of November 2012 and it was a well attended inauguration. The Ogbe stadium was filled to the brim as at 8 o'clock . The Monday of 12th November was declared a public Holiday in Benin.
The occasion was attended by ACN party stalwarts led by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu ,Prince Frank Ukonga-SDMP Governorship candidate in the Edo polls, Gov Rauf Aregbesola,Gov Raji Fashola, Gov Ibikunle Amosun, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, General Yakubu Gowon, Senator Domingo Obende,Senator Ngige.

The Chairman of Governor's Forum Rotimi Ameachi, The DG of Governors Forum Barrister Asishana Okauru and his wife former FIRS DG Mrs Omogie Okauru, NLC President Mr Abulazeez Umar,Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, Anambra state Governor Peter Obi, Dr Raymond Dokpesi ,Hon Patrick  Obahiagbon etc
Also in attendance was the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom HRH Eheneden Erediawa while the Benin King Oba Erediawa sent representatives. , Otaru of Auchi, Otaru of Igarra and all the Edo traditional rulers were present.The Sultan of Sokoto sent representatives.

Also present were representatives of SDMP Party sent by Chief Olu Falae to grace the occasion led by Prince Frank Ukonga the SDMP leader and governorship candidate of Edo state, Engineer Adeasina the National Vice Chairman of SDMP , Mr Elder Ogonna  representing the National Secretary of SDMP.
Other political parties present were the PDP General Godwin Abe, the CPC- Edo State Chairman , CPC Edo state Governorship candidate Roland Izebuwa, NCP Edo Governorship candidate Paul Orunwense, NCP STATE Chairman,Labour Party Edo Governorship candidate Andrew Igwemoh etc
H.E. Adams Oshiomhole was sworn in aroond 12 oclock by the Chief Justice of Edo state Justice Idahosa while his deputy Mr Odubu was sworn in earlier.
In his valedictory speech Conrade Adams Oshiomhole promised to focus on industrialisation of the state, educational and agricultural policy trust.
 He also promised prudent management of resources , transparency and an open door policy.
In the afternoon there a was a luncheon organised by the government at Imaguero School along Sapale road and it was a well attended luncheon were all the important dignitaries eat and , danced , spoke and interacted with each other. Asiwaju Bola tinubu,  ComradeAdams Oshiomhole, Gov Ibikunle Amosun, Prince Frank Ukonga, Alhaji Dangote,Gov  Aregbesola, SenatorDomingo Obende, Senator Ngige, Chief Bisi Akande,Ize Iyamu,Gov Fayemi, Gov Raji Fashola etc were all in attendance of the luncheon.It was a grand inauguration.
