THE LOOTHING OF AJAOKUTA IRON & STEEL COMPANY
The Ajaokuta Steel Complex was conceived by the Late Gen.Murtala Mohammed to be the core thrust of the Industrialization of the Nigerian federation, the largest and most populous nation of the black race!! Peopled mostly by dark pigmented negroid stock of the Sudanese racial classification of the Bantu bias with some traces of the Nubian, Mandingo and the Fulani groups of the savanna and Sahel aspects of Western Sudan.A great people that has gone through many centuries of dehumanization by the white race through slavery , colonization and neo colonization as well as black on black imperialism, looting of the treasuries of the nation by kleptomaniac leaders and ruthless dictatorship have impoverished the entire Nigerian community that the middle class has completely vanished!! Little wonder the Ajaokuta iron and steel complex created by one of the most patriotic and greatest hero of Nigeria on the Niger-Benue confluence in semblance of the River Volga Industrial complex of Russia, Ruhr Westphalia River Industrial complex of Germany, the Mississippi river industrial belt of USA, the Hudson river Industrial belt of USA, The great lakes St Lawrence industrial Belt of Canada etc!! But after the death of this great leader Murtala Mohammed ,all others leaders paid only lip service to this great concept of industrializing Nigeria with a population projection estimate of close to 250 million people, are having the real sector of the economy virtually dead while able youth , men and women roam around the streets jobless and redundant./. The Ajaokuta steel complex ,when completed will generate more than 200,000 jobs and another 2 million jobs in its down stream sector. This company was alleged to have been illegally acquired by a company where the son of the former president OBJ is a director!! And it is alleged that the entire complex has been looted away including the Itape billets that were supposed to be the raw materials of the Ajaokuta foundry!!Nigeria by our inverstigation has iron and steel ores in the ingnoius volcanicity of the KUKURUKU/AFEMAI /ITAPE HILLS that can surply the entire steel need of the entire world for 2000 years!!
Our investigation revealed that many of the  looted parts of the foundry where sold to speculators at Beregu camp near Ajaokuta, and our visit to the place in 2009 October, we discovered a lot of looting was going on!! It is the destiny of the 7th Republic of Nigeria to industrialize Nigeria and as Ms Okonjo Iweala a top staff of the world bank is leading President Jonathan's Economic Agenda it should occur to her that no nation can become industrialized if it cannot produce liquid steel!! though the politics of Ajaokuta has long been that the western powers never really wanted Nigeria to have the capacity of producing liquid steel as we are also the consumers of their industrial dumps , but who so ever leader that finally achieve producing liquid steel in Nigeria will become the Atta Turk of Nigeria and the father of Nigerian industrialization the is overdue!! Right now the staff of Ajaokuta steel plant has not been paid for over 10 months.
