Former President of the Nigerian Federation, President Ibrahim Babangida is 70 years old today!! We @ National Peoples News Celebrate with him and congratulate his Excellency Ibrahim Babangida , happy birthday and many happy returns. !! Speaking to newsmen in Minna yesterday he blasted President Goodluck Jonathan tenure elongation bill saying a single term is stupid and ill timed as the first 4 years gives the electorate the chances to access the government and if they are performing woefully they are kicked out!! While he blasted the OBJ govt of 8 years of oil boom sales at 120 dollars in the world market with nothing to show for it. He said that oil prices ware so low in his 8 years @ 10 dollars per barrel and yet he had much to thank God for in the context of achievements and legacies which the social entropy of public debate would agree with him.
He advice president Jonathan to be more focused on delivering the dividends of democracy which should translate to generating electricity, infrastructural dev, agric and industrial revolution, job creation, healthcare, etc rather than thinking of constitutional amendments now and all men of good will agree with this rightly guided perspective of H.E. Ibrahim Babangida…
