The governorship candidates of the Allied Political Parties of the Edo State election of July, 14th 2012 comprising of Labour Party, Social Democratic Party[SDP],and the NCP at a meeting held in Benin city on the 21st May 2014- On the State of Affairs of Edo state of Nigeria.

The Edo state governorship candidates of the Allied Political arties of Comrade Andrew Igwemoh of Labor Party, Prince Frank Ukonga of the Social Democratic Party, and Paul Orumwese of the NCP rose from a meeting on Wednesday 21st May 2014 with the following resolutions on the state of Affairs of Edo state of Nigeria:
1. In strong terms we condemn the abysmal handling of the APC congresses held in the state which was characterized by fraud and insincerity on the part of the party leadership of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in the deliberate attempt to alienate the stakeholders led by Pastor Osagie  Ize Iyamu in the same way he treated the Allied Political Parties governorship candidates of Prince Frank Ukonga [SDP],Comrade Andrew Igwemoh of Labour Party and Paul Orumwese of the NCP that was into coalition with the Adam Oshiomhole led A CN in the Edo state governorship polls of July 2014 .
2.We are aware that the structure and platform that saw the emergence of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the candidate and later as governor of Edo state were put in place by the founding members 0of AC which later transformed to AC N under the leadership of Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu, the group is stupefied to see the governor playing the ostrich with the likes of Pastor Ize Iyamu, Prince Tony Omagie, Chief Amos Osumbor, Alhaji Usman Shagadi who Labored endlessly to ensure that he emerged as the Candidate and succeeded at the polls in 2007 and 2012. His impetuous and irrational attitude has relegated key players and enthroned surrogates all in an attempt to sustain his presence in government after leaving office which is unacceptable in genuine democratic process. This portends grave dangers to the growth of democracy in Edo state, Nigeria and the African continent and the world in generality…
3. We also observed his autocratic and domineering tendencies at decision makings and actions which has glorified mediocrity, encouraged cultism and aggressions…
4. It is evident that the sham party registration and congresses has depleted the Membership of the APC with mass exodus and decamping former members of the party including some members of the state House of Assembly, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu, Chief Segun Ose, and other key leaders cutting across the three senatorial districts.
5.The ingratitude and winner takes it all attitude of the governor Adams Oshiomhole has relegated the Allied Group  of[ Prince Frank Ukonga-SDP, Paul Orumese-NCP,  Andrew Igwemoh-LP and other relevant stakeholders who ordinarily should have been accorded some respect but has been raped , used and made irrelevant…
Therefore the former governorship candidates advice the comrade governor to retrace his steps and jettison his one man know it all attitude before it is too late…and to go back to agreed status quo anti bellum of forming a coalition all inclusive government with the Allied [political parties of SDP,LP , NCP. And other stakeholders in the Edo state of Nigeria.
Long live the good people of Edo state, long live the federal Republic of Nigeria
