State of the union statement; SDP Edo state of Nigeria condemn
the Jos, Kano and Pipeline bombing; and the kidnapping of the 276 girls of Chibok,support the bring back our girls global protests;
On the behalf of our Chairman His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga and all
members of the Edo State Exco of the Social Democratic party , we condemn is
strong terms the recent twin bombing of Jos Terminus station , the bombing of Sabon Geri in Kano state as well as
the pipeline bombing in River State of Nigeria and the kidnapping of the 276 girls
of Chibok. We commend all the countries
of the world that are assisting the Nigerian federation to solve the security
challenges and appeal that they do
something Fast to stop this carnage and waste of innocent lives in the country .
We also appeal to the federal government to continue to do more in the context
of solving the security challenges of the Nigerian federation. We comment the
new policy thrust of the Nigeria government in seeking closer cooperation with
other ECOWAS countries addressed to resolve the security challenges and
reposition the ECOWAS Economic community for peace, accelerated development and
integrations..
