INEC 30,000 PU-Latest: Afenifere, the All Pan Yoruba congress of 70 Million Yoruba Race; endorse the Prince Frank Ukonga stratagems for credible polls, rejects INEC 30,000 Pulling Units sharing Ratio of 21000 units for the North & 8000 polling units for the South…..Afenifere endorse the Prince Frank Ukonga – a presidential Aspirant of the Nigerian federation 2015 stratagems for credible polls; rejecting the lopsided sharing ratio and insists that INEC go back to status quo ante bellum… The parley, hosted by Afenifere leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, was attended by chieftains and members from Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti and Lagos states.
Afenifere’s position was part of the communique issued after a meeting held in Akure, Ondo State.
According to Afenifere, the distribution of newly-created polling units was more disturbing and clearly showed the determination of INEC to sustain permanent dominance of the North on election matters.
This was exactly the observations of Prince Frank Ukonga, the chairman of SDP Edo state of the Nigerian federation and a presidential Aspirant in the 2015 polls, when as a major stakeholder with locus standee in the Nigerian political economy, Attended the INEC Stakeholders summit held recently in  Benin behind closed doors, where Ukonga  vehemently rejected the INEC move to shortchange the southern Nigeria in the allocation of the new PU in front of all stalwarts and big wigs of INEC..Since that epoch making dichotomy between the North and the South prime moved by His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga two weeks ago in the Edo summit, virtually all the newspapers, radio, television and all internet network media of the entire world have been announcing and debating on the issue with most of the pundit in support of His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga’s stratagems for credible polls in 2015-….again the Afenifere of over 70 million Yoruba union, endorse the Frank Ukonga stratagems for credible polls…you can see that Prince Frank Ukonga is a honest patriotic statesman and national leader…so you now  know who to vote for in 2015 as the Prince is a presidential aspirant who want the best for all Nigerians and the entire human family on a global scale…
The Afenifere organization condemned the distribution of the additional polling units where the North alone was allocated 21,000 and entire South including the populous South-West, got a paltry 8,000. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was allocated 1,200.
It condemned the allocation of 7,906 to the North-West alone; 5,291 units to the war ravaged North-East, whereas the South-East was given 1,167 units and South-West with only 4,160.
The communique reads: “Afenifere hereby passes vote of no confidence on the ability of the Prof. Attahiru Jega-led INEC to conduct free, fair and credible elections if those polling units are sustained. We viewed the creation of the new units as attempts to create rigging of the election at the source.”
The parley, hosted by Afenifere leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, was attended by chieftains and members from Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti and Lagos states.
Reading the communique, the Publicity Secretary, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, said the organisation was disturbed by the action of INEC, a few months to the elections.
