The Supreme Court Judgement of today 10/7/2017- has declared H.E. Godwin Obaseki the winner of the Edo 2016 governorship election held on September 28, 2016. Prince Frank Ukonga also a governorship candidate in the keenly contested governorship polls among several gladiators congratulate Governor Godwin Obaseki and commend Pastor Ize Iyamu for the zeal and maturity he displayed all through the period of Tribunal,Appeal Court and finally the Supreme Court and his acceptance of the Supreme court judgement and congratulate governor Godwin Obaseki over the Supreme court judgment.
The Amiable Prince said: "On the behalf of myself and all members of my Party we congratulate Governor Godwin Obaseki for the victory in the Supreme court as the winner of the keenly contested election which i also contested for the highly exalted seat of the governor of Edo State and we commend Pastor Ize Iyamu and all other Candidates in the election for the maturity and non violent etiquette displayed during and after the election. We admonish Governor Godwin Obaseki to adopt the maturity posture of no victor , no vanquished and carry all contestants and Edo peoples along in his government. We call on all Edolite to cooperate with the governor to move Edo State to achieve giant strides in industrial,economic and agricultural development and re position Edo State as first among equals. Gratitude."
