The Democratic Alternative Party determined to win the forth coming Osun governorship election has taken deft move to rejig the Osun state chapter of DA-Democratic Alternative. The former state chairman Osun state in person of Hon. Adefila has been relieved of his post for non performance and a new dynamic state chairman in person of Hon. Mutiu Abiodun Ibrahim has been appointed to take over the affairs of DA in Osun state with orders to win the Osun state governorship polls and deliver Osun to DA kitty.
Osun state is a great state in the heart of Western Region created in August 27 1991 by General Ibrahim Babangida bothers with Oyo state, Ekiti State, Kwarra State, Ogun State, Ondo state etc..well located as the center of Western Region with a population of 3.5 million peoples of which the youth is made up of more than 65% above 2,5 million youth strength with a land mass of 9,259 sq km and 30 local government Areas is particularly favoured to jump start the DA- Marshal plans of Industrial, Agricultural and Economic Revolution for the Nigerian sovereignty...as a sine qua non.
Osun state is very rich in mineral resources of Gold, Diamond, Limestone, bauxite,etc and well transverse by water ways notable among which is River Osun.
With a rich cultural heritage of Osun Oshogbo International Festival and many others, Osun state host the center and capital of the Yoruba Race Ile Ife with a young, great, remarkable King His Royal Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja -2 , an avartgard, progressive King that is determined to lead the Yoruba Race to the highest pinnacle of civilization of all times.
Our game plan at DA- Democratic Alternative is to partner with His Royal Majesty and other Obas of Osun state to unleash the DA Economic, Agricultural and Industrial revolution that would transform Osun state to a modern leading state of Nigeria, Africa and the global village.
Osun state with an IGR of 13 billion Naira in 2017 is rather too portable when compared to Lagos state that generated over 800 billion Naira in that same year 2017.
Our Marshal plans of Economic, Industrial and Agricultural Revolution for Osun state when implemented would transform Osun state to generate over 500 Billion Naira annually, create more than 2 million direct jobs and above 3 million jobs in the down stream sectors of Osun economy.
Osun state would have her own petroleum Refinery, Cement Manufacturing plants, steel Mill and numerous rolling mills, and many factories from Aluminium factories to chemical and pharmaceuticals, to bottling, to tobacco processing and manufacturing to palm Oil processing plants etc.
Our plan is to generate over 10,000MW Electricity from Osun Axis to the National grit etc..
We plan to build state of Art Roads to link all the towns of Osun state , also we plan to build Rail lines , Modern Airport, Stadiums, Flyovers, bridges, Dams ,Reservoirs, Hotels, Universities, polytechnics, Hospitals in all Local government Areas, more primary and secondary schools ...in fact our plans at DA for Osun state is a total transformation from the mundane past to a new post modern state that would be a pride to all the citizens of Osun, to the Nigerian Federation and a shining role model for Africa and the entire world.
