Ogun state created by Murtala Mohammed as the Gate Way state in 1976 out of Western Region was a master strategy to create a prosperous industrial and economic hob of a synergy of Export zone like the Chinese and Russian Models that would be heavily industrialized and contributing enormously to the GNP of the sovereignty... With a land mass of 16,980 Square Kilometer, very rich in minerals deposits and favorably located. A leading cash crop producer of Cocoa, palm Oil, Palm Kernel, rubber, timber,Rice etc...With an IGR of N73 billion Naira in the year 2016 and a target of N10 billion Naira monthly for the years up to 2019 is rather a portable achievement and more could be done to raise the IGR to more than double and position Ogun state as the leading economic and industrial giant of the Nigerian sovereignty as DA Target to generate over N1.2 Trillion Naira IGR for Ogun state, we Target to create over 2 million direct jobs and over 4 million jobs in the downstream sectors of Ogun state...and much more..through DA Marshal plans of Economic, Industrial and Agric Revolution... and to make Ogun State a role Model for all other states of Sub Saharan Africa and emerging democracies of the world...
