The Nigerian Prestigious International Conference Center Abuja was set a glow on the 13th of December 2019 as the National Security Adviser to the Nigerian Federation Major General BM Monguno organized a Summit/Workshop on 2019 Election Security Management Workshop.
The Top brass of the Nigerian Security Officers , National Chairmen of Political Parties, INEC Chairman and top officials of INEC, Head of Parastatals, Diplomats and the Civil Society Organizations graced the opening ceremony of this remarkable workshop on Election Security management addressed to have free, fair and credible elections in 2019.
The President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Federation President Mohammadu Buhari was Represented by the Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria [ SGF] Alhaji Boss Mustapha.
All the Service Chiefs and the IGP were ably represented.The President of Senate H.E. Dr. Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the National Assembly H.E. Yakubu Dogara were ably Represented. H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga the National Chairman of Democratic Alternative and the Presidential Candidate of the Party and other party Chairmen were in attendance to grace this all important occasion.
In his Key Note address the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria H.E. Muhammadu Buhari represented by Alhaji Boss Mustapha the Secretary to the Federal Government emphasized the imperatives of having a joint workshop of all the Security Forces of the Federation to invent a pro active security synergy addressed to have credible free, fair and peaceful election in 2019.
The Chief Host, the National Security Adviser of the Nigerian Federation -NSA - Major General BM Monguno welcomed all participants to the workshop/Summit and indicated that other workshop on Election Security Management will be held simultaneously in other Zones of the Federation addressed to re invent the Nigerian Security operations to have credible ,free , fair and peaceful 2019 election.
H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga lauded the Election Security Management Summit/Workshop as timely, ingenious and historic in the affairs of Election management in Nigeria and Sub Saharan Africa.
