Breaking News: Political Party Chairmen[IPAC] Sign Revised Code of Conduct.
The National Chairmen of the 91 political parties of the Nigerian Federation gathered at the Prestigious Fraser Suites in Abuja on the 7th of August 2019 to sign the revised Code of Conduct that would be binding on all political parties leadership and members across the country.
High Chief Peter Ameh, The President of IPAC- Inter-Party Advisory Council an association of  National Chairmen of Political Parties led other party chairmen to the remarkable occasion. Among other Notable National Chairmen that graced the occasion include Alhaji AA Salam National Charman of the Labour Party, H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga -National Chairman of the DA-Democratic Alternative Party,Bar Geogina Dakpokpo of the YDP, Comrade Usman Ikeleji of CNP, Professor Godwill Nnaji of BNPP,Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima of ANCP, Dr Tanko Yusuf of the NCP, Bar Emeka Igwe of the PDC, Rev Olusegun Peters of the DPC, Bar Kenneth Udeze of the AA, Hon Rasak Eyiowuawi of the PPN,etc
Professor Mahmood Yakubu the INEC Chairman was represented by the INEC National Commissioner Professor Antonia Simbine accompanied by top INEC brass. The co-convener of the event the Nigerian Election Situation Room Group was represented by Bar Esther Uzoma.
The revised IPAC Code of Conduct is more gender-inclusive providing the UN standard of 35% women inclusion and also provided for peoples with disabilities[PWD].
The IPAC Institute has also been created to cater for the training and capacity building of party leaders to international Standard Practice.
