Almost all the candidates that participated in the Edo 2016 guber polls are calling for the cancellation of the widely rigged election by the Oshiomhole led government of Edo state.
Soon after the pronouncement of Obaseki by INEC as the winner protesters took to the streets protesting peacefully for the return of the stolen mandate
H.E. Prince frank Ukonga the chairman of the IPAC- Inter Party Advisory Council of the state has called on the federal government to cancel the polls and fix another date for fresh polls.
The irregularities were so obvious that 10 communities of the riverine areas of Edo state never voted because the electoral officers never brought the materials but they were accredited and allotted votes.
Likewise all the polls results form various local govts did not tally with the announced results...
Aside their was a discrepancy of 66,000 votes in an electoral college system of simultaneous accreditation and voting....
there was widespread cash inducement of voters by th incumbent party to the chargim and dismay of international and local observers...
Whence the IPAC Chairman call for the cancellation of the polls and another date be fixed for fresh polls.
