Tafawa Balewa NIM Chairman and others storm Abuja.
Thisday the 21st of March 2018 was a historic day as
the Nigerian Intervention Movement- NIM a Nigerian Pressure group launched out
officially at Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja.
The National Chairman of the Association Dr Abdul Tafawa Balewa son of the late Prime Minister
of the Nigerian Federation Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa ,unveiled the Necessity
and sufficiency premises of the reason d entrée of the novae group as timely
and addressed to produce good and accountable governance that is germane to the
entrenchment of sustainable Democracy, peace, progress and prosperity of
Nigeria and the African continent in generality…
Other Notable leaders of the Nigerian Federation attended
the summit or sent video message or their written message to the summit. They include
Professor Wole Shoyinka, Dr Parick Utomi, etc
Bar Osagie Obayuwana the former Attorney General of Edo
state read the constitution of the Movement to the public while other notable
speakers including Alhaji Salam the National Chairman of the Labour Party who
also chairs the coalition of 35 political parties under the banner of CNN-
Coalition for a New Nigeria addressed the large delegates at the summit.
H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga the National Chairman of Democratic
Alternative Party also graced the occasion and in his remark to journalists lauded
the idea of a grand coalition addressed to building formidable strong
democratic institutions in Nigeria that can make positive impact on the growth
and development of the Nigerian state and the African continent. Many political
party chairmen graced the occasion among
are Chief Peter Ameh of the PPA, Dr Tanko Yinusa of the NCP, Bar Kenneth Udezie
of the AA, Engr Okey Chikwendu of AGAP, Chief Ralph Nwosu of the ADC, Chief
