Breaking News:Anambra Governorship Polls 2013:Official position of Social Democratic Party of Nigeria-SDP: The National Secretary of SDP His Excellency Dr Abubakar Sadiq Gombe has instructed His Excellency Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga Chairman of Edo SDP & Presidential Aspirant 2015, to announce to the entire Nigerians that SDP is not satisfied with the conduct of Anambra polls,after our NEC Meeting, that most of the political parties were short changed by commissions and omissions,widespread malpractices and sharp practices by some INEC Officials in collaborations with the incumbent party APGA, All offenders caught in malpractices should be prosecuted to serve as deterrence, advise INEC to improve on service delivery if it is to deliver by 2015...

The National Secretary General of Social Democratic Party of the Nigerian Federation SDP, the largest country of the Black Race and the third largest democracy in the entire world.. His Excellency Dr Abubakar Sadiq Gombe has instructed His Excellency Prince Frank Onaivi Ukonga Chairman SDP Edo strate and a member of SDP National Executive Council ,after the emergency NEC meeting of all the governing body of SDP Nigeria, SDP unanimously express dissatisfaction with the conduct of the Anambra governorship elections of 2013 offering the following points for serious consideration by stakeholders in the Anambra polls and in the Nigerian project-
1] That the Anambra polls was frought with many irregularities and sharp practices from some INEC Officials in collaboration with the ruling incumbent party APGA addressed to play to the gallery of delivering the Anambra state to the plate of the incumbent governing party a la carte ;observing that in almost all polls that has been conducted by INEC in the state and federal levels it is always the incubent that is adjudged the winner.
2]That is some local governments of Anambra state particularly in 3 local governments Odimilii inclusive the INEC Official compromised to the ,level that it became too obvious that they were working out a script of the incumbent party APGA and that more would have been desired up to the fact that even the ballot papers that were suppose to be of different prints from different local governments when it came to these 3 aforementioned Local governments everything was mixed up and this three LGA controlled a sizable chunk of the voting populace of close to 4000,000 voters of the 1.8 million registered voters of Anambra population of slightly above 4 million peoples..
3]That all offenders caught in malpractices in elections in Nigeria should be prosecuted as SDP observed that in most cases after the polls the offenders are released to start to roam about the streets at the full glare of those he has short changed and perhaps vandalized and that this is not good enough for the growth of our democratic dispensation..
4]That INEC as a matter of urgency need to improve on service delivery to the polity and weed out bad eggs if they are to deliver in the 2015 general polls at the corner..
5] Whence we urge all SDP supporters in Anambra state to be law abiding in all the polling units of the re run elections of 200 plus units and that all our agents should be vigilant to report sharp practices to the officials
