The National Peace Accord between all the Presidential candidates in the 2019 polls was signed today in Abuja and the historic event was graced by important dignitaries from across Nigeria, Ecowas, Africa and the entire world.
Nigeria made history today as all the Presidential Candidates contesting the 2019 election signed a Peace Accord of Non Violent election and to accept the results of the election if adjudged free, fair and Credible. Any other form of grievances from the polls it is agreed would be solved through the Election Tribunals and the law court.
H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga the Presidential Candidate of DA- The Democratic Alternative Party after signing the Peace Accord expressed optimism about the 2019 polls. He said:
"The 2019 Election Peace Accord is a historic event in the annals of Nigerian History which if properly harnessed would strengthen the growth of democracy in Nigeria and impact positively on the fortunes of Nigeria, Sub Saharan Africa and the African Continent in generality, it is ingenious and laudable"
