The DA-Democratic Alternative Party campaign team stormed the Borno State capital Maiduguri  to flag off the governorship candidate of the Democratic Alternative Alhaji Babagana Galawaji and all other candidates contesting the 2019 election in Borno state with a great message for all the citizens of Borno state:His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga the Presidential candidate of DA Said:
"Fellow Compatriots of the great Kanem Bornu Empire DA -Democratic Alternative come to you with warmest affections to partner with you with determination to restore back the great glories and legacies of the Kanem Bornu Empire which reached its Zenith during the reign of Mai Idriss Alooma the great who transformed Kanem Bornu Empire to be ranked among the greatest legacies of the  African continent and the Human Race in generality.
Our prerogatives at DA for Borno State:
1] Peace & Security: In the halcyon  days of Mai Idriss Alooma the great  there was peace, progress and advancement that it was credited to him that "a lone woman clad in gold can walk the entire Empire with nobody to fear but God"  That is the determination of DA to bring Peace and Security to Borno state through our ingenious stratagems of  Alternative Dispute Resolution through dialogue and constructive engagements.
2] Trade, Commerce and Industry: Borno state was a great center for Trade, Commerce and industry but today it is a shadow of her heroic splendors and greatness. Our mission at DA is to bring back this lost glories addressed to raise the GDP of Borno state to be one of the leading states in Nigeria and Sub Saharan Africa.
3] Education: Borno was a flourishing center of Education which reached its Zenith in the remarkable days of Mai Idrss Alooma with many schools and ingenious diplomatic relations and scholars Exchange programs with great centers of learning of the world in particular with the Ottoman Empire ,Europe and Asian minor. Those great Historic legacies in Education, training and diplomatic Relations of Mai Idriss Alooma would be our template as a role model to fashion out ingenious programs that would transform Borno state to one of the greatest centers of Education. We offer free and qualitative Education at all levels..
4] Infrastructural Development and Transportation: Kanem Bornu Empire in the days of Mai Idris Alooma was an empire of remarkable beauty and splendor in the context of city architecture, roads, and water ways transportation. Mia Idris Alooma built beautiful city walls with red bricks and Borno became infamous as the red bricks civilization. Scholars and tourists travel from far and wide to marvel at the great infrastructural opulence. We shall invest in this ingenious template. we promise to build state of art roads, bridges and Modern Rail lines, airports and much more
