LEGACY OF CHIEF ENAHORO, AWOLOWO, AMINU KANU, ZIK MUST LIVE ON.

The National Reformation Party was established in 1999 by Chief Anthony Enahoro as a continuation of the offshoot of the UPN and Action Group of Chief Obafemi Awolowo who was his political partner in the South West after the demise of the late sage.

Chief Antony Enahoro was a staunch member of the Action Group as well as the Unity Party and Alliance for Democracy and as a great political partner and associate of the leader of the West Chief Obafemi Awolowo . But After the failure of the Nation to give MKO Abiola his mandate of June 12 it became imperative for Chief Anthony Enahoro to join hands with like minds to form NADECO an umbrella pressure group that chased General Sani Abacha out of power. Subsequently with the Tinubu /Afenifere fued in AD of Chief Bola Ige, Chief Anthony Enahoro had no choice but to lead his group Nationally and to channel a new path for the development of the progressives and the continuation of the noble ideals of his great partners of Obafemi Awolowo, zik, Balewa, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Alhaji Aminu Kano etal, whose philosophies of nationalism has been adulterated by opportunist using their names to gain access into the foray of Nigerian and international politicking with impunity.

So it became mandatory for Chief Anthony Enahoro to channel an ideal course of dialectical and historical development of the Nigerian state addressed to continue to retain, maintain and nurture the ideology, and philosophical tenets of the Nationalism in an order of continuum of mutantis mutandis while carrying other ideals of Balewa, Zik, Ahmadu Bello, Macauley Malam Aminu Kano, along in that composite juxtaposition of the nationalistic, struggles and successes, which they all fought for in oneness for Nigeria to be free.

But today their great legacies are in ruins. Ruined by some opportunist who taunt their names about to gain political entry into the schemes of thing and later become looters of the same school of thought that made them... A case of using the ladder ideological and political of these great nationalist, honest heroes of Nigerian state and messing it up.

The time has come to rejig the legacies of Chief Anthony Enahoro, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Bola Ige, Alhaji Tafawa Balewa, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Zik, Okpara and the likes of them whom Chief Anthony Enahoro metamorphosized in NRP party as the last of the TITANS to go to our ancestors just a few month ago.

So the game plan is that for Nigeria to survive the present national crisis we have to take a step backward in thinking to analyze how our previous leaders and heroes solve that problem and today the answer is NRP- The National Reformation Party

The Director of Research and development of National Peoples News Dr Patrick Iwebo speaking with Barrister Soni Chukwuma , the National Secretary of NRP confirmed this report and Soni was quick to add that ;

:” Today the National Reformation Party NRP has evolved as the new political and social praxis of the Nigerian Nation State that is the only true Nationalist party retaining the great ideals of the founding Heroes of Nigeria in its purity...’ And he added

“Our game plan is to rejig the Party and use it as a platform to bring in other progressive like minds like the SDMP, ADC, ACN, ANPP, CPC NAP, LP, into our fold and under our leadership to present a formidable platform that can wrestle power from the PDP  in 2015 addressed to lead the Nigerian Nation state to the promised land and librate Nigeria from the imprisonment of the cabals”

On why they did not present a presidential candidate in 2011 general elections in Nigeria Soni Chukwuma the vibrant National Secretary of NRP replied thus:

“We had a Presidential candidate for 2011 polls who was in person of H.E. Prince frank Ukonga but as at when we wanted to host the primaries and give him our party flag the leader of our great party Chief Anthony Enahoro died. And it was in the election period .and the burial, events took over events.’

“But today we have emerged stronger, more formidable and we shall present candidates for all posts in Nigeria including a formidable intelligent vibrant and sound Presidential candidate.”

Speaking with the Chairman of the NRP  Chief  A.C. Chukwu in Enugu he confirmed that the party has big plans for the 2015 elections and would be  a party that will spring surprise.

The National Legal adviser of the NRP Party Chief Robinson Momoh -SAN- also confirmed the great plans of the NRP for the coming 2015 general elections.

As for weather the NRP will re present Prince Frank Ukonga as NRP Presidential candidate in 2015, Soni Chukwuma, the erudite Barrister offered the following observations:

“Prince Frank Ukonga is an intelligent, rightly guided intelligentsia with vision and focus, from the mould of the founding fathers of the Nigerian state. He has the ability and clout to lead the Nigeria State from the present social economic quagmire, we endorse him for any post he is seeking for in the Nigerian Federation and we call on other progressives to endorse him”

Our reporters called Prince frank Ukonga for his opinion on 2015 and he replied thus

‘ Oh -2015 Presidency- no shaking, i dey kamkpe’
