Breaking News: H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga- DA Nat Chairman tasks the National Assembly to pass bill on govt funding for political parties-Towards Building strong Democratic Institution in Nigeria.

The National Chairman of Democratic Alternative Party –DA –H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga in his contribution to the NIPSS Retreat held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel  Abuja ,venue of the recent NIPSS[ National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies-- Nigeria’s Highest Institute for training Top govt functionaries-NIPSS] retreat for National Chairmen of Political parties called on the National Assembly to consider bill on govt funding of political parties addressed to create formidable democratic institutions that would strengthen the unity and stability of the country and also contribute to job creation as each political party has the capacity to employ over 30,000 peoples and more in the multiplier effect. This would ameliorate redundancies of skill and unskilled labor force, create wealth and improve the overall GDP of the country.

Whence political parties should be viewed as Developmental Centers that can make a big difference in solving many problems of the country by contribution their quota in the running of the country as shadow “pseudo Government” in waiting if well supported.
