His Excellency General Charles Airhiavbere, the PDP Governorship
candidate in the just concluded Edo gubernatorial polls hosted His Excellency
Prince Frank Ukonga in his Boundary Road Residence recently to commend Prince
Ukonga over his emergence as the newly elected Chairman of SDMP in Edo state.
His Excellency, General Charles Airhiavbere was very hospitable and received
Prince Ukonga warmly into his fold hugging him and commending his contributions
to the development of democracy in Edo state. General Charles Airhiavbere solicited
support and cooperation between the PDP and the SDMP in the state and the
Nigeria federation in future polls particularly the 2015 general polls as well
as the 2016 gubernatorial polls in the state.
His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga thanked the great General and
praised the maturity , decorum and orderliness to which the 2012 governorship
election was conducted in the state as the best election in the History of Nigeria
and as one of the best election in the world which was made manifest by the matured
cooperation of the contenders and other stakeholders in the Nigerian project.
Right there Chief Dan Orbih the PDP Chairman phoned that he was away to
Abuja on an urgent assignment but congratulated Prince Ukonga as the new
chairman of SDMP and said that he is looking forward to a fruitful working
relationships between PDP and SDMP.
