The Democratic Alternative Party on Saturday flagged off in Portharcourt the South South Zonal campaign rally for the 2019 election. DA is fielding H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga as the Presidential flag bearer and fielding Chief Obrasua Johnbul as governor and fielding 3 senators and contesting all the slots in the House of Representatives as well as the Assembly. DA is fully on ground in River state and at per with the PDP and the APC.
DA is determined to win the 2019 governorship election of River state and to win all the Senate, Assembly and Rep seats addressed to move the great River state to higher grounds economically, industrially and much more basking on the policy thrust of Democratic Alternative to unleash industrial, economic and Agric Revolution Nationwide if voted to power.

It is also the second largest in the context of IGR targeting 10 billion Naira from IGR Monthly, second only to Lagos state in internal revenue generation. With a population of 6.6 million peoples of which the youth are above 70% more than 4,7 million youth. River state is arguably one of the most endowed states in Nigeria and Sub Saharan Africa. Our policy thrust at Democratic Alternative is to re invent the great state and the hard working citizens to all times high in the context of economic, industrial and agricultural prowess.
